About Siphiwe Zuma, founder of Anathoth Solutions:
Siphiwe had an accident at a tender age of nine, which resulted in his left leg being amputated. Due to his hands being occupied with crutches, he was then unable to use an umbrella on rainy or sunny days. This eventually inspired him to design this retractable umbrella mechanism for those facing similar challenges. The primary design comprises an umbrella retraction mechanism that is mounted onto a wheelchair. With the desire to elevate the heights of the business, Anathoth plans to also expand its innovation to a backpack umbrella mechanism, to accommodate particularly those who permanently walk in crutches.
