Yeah, we all imagined them simply reworking a great platform from BF1 into WWII skins and having an awesome game. Not the way it went though. BFV is the worst BF game ever.
Missed BF1 lately & decided to play through the BF1 campaign for the first time since launch. The atmosphere, the stories, gunplay, emotions, music etc. So bloody good & then still so disappointing they went from this to BFV. They had such huge potential to easily build upon & improve on BF1, making the ultimate WW2 game with the same level of atmosphere & storytelling. What we got instead was embarrassingly mediocre for a variety of stupid decisions.
Isn't it weird how the more hyper-realistic trend in V made it look... crushed? Ironically, the thematically darker game (BF1) was rich in color. Such a shame the art style didn't carry over.

I loved when the music kicked in on Passchendale and the two cavalry horses rode past it looked friggin epic, I need to get my ass back on BF1 for sure
i'm from South Africa and we have tons of servers , all dead dead dead . Now i am forced to play on EU servers with about 180 - 200 latency . There is moments where the network coding seems to be on my side and i get some nice kills ( flanking is key ) . Despite all the Negatives the game still looks great and is fun to play and if all else fails there is always Campaign to play XD
The HE one is super good IMO. I can use it to yet it across the map fr behind cover and still destroy holdings that people are hiding in. Plus power to annoy tanks is great.

Still loving the Warzone stuff tho, especially that vehicle stream you made last year, put some stuff together in honour of it, would make my year if you took a look! Dude, i've been playing custom hardcore servers on PS the past few days. Absolutely awesome. They need to make Hardcore THE Standard and have some newbie servers with the current "standard" 200% health. Boom, there you go. "Best" high profile FPS this side of the multiverse.

It's safe to save that Battlefield 1 is the best, yet unappreciated game of all time, so cinematic and for me the dirty guns from muddy water is the best detail ever

The graphics and art direction of battlefield 5 are just way off. The game just looks too clean and pristine for the most horrific war in recorded history. The war with multiple genocides, ethnic cleansings, indiscriminate bombardments and destroyed cities yet the game looks super clean for some reason. It doesn't have the grittiness of battlefield 1.
I’ve recently started playing bf1 again I just jumped on last week just out of boredom and i am addicted it feels like the first time installing it 4 years ago it’s a strange feeling I’ve actually been having fun on my Xbox for a change thank you bf1
The last map in video ,,Passchendaele" is (for me) most climatic map in a whole game, maybe whole battlefield series. Huge gas cloud from one side, fire wall on the other side, and we as players in between this madness. Masterpiece

I've found the cross bow launcher to be really effective in tight spaces like buildings or when sneaking up hills/craters

BF1 was my introduction to Battlefield games. I loved it and was hooked playing with friends from day one!
