7 days off is not enough time. I quit caffeine 1 month ago and my REAL energy is still climbing. No Matter what the perceived benefit you may think coffee has, it is an illusion.
I love how instead of being hard on yourself for failing sometimes to follow the rules, you let yourself free sometimes. Quite a great non stressful way to find balance!
I quit caffeine months ago because I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroid disease. Caffeine is bad for this disease. I had brain fog for weeks after quitting. Now I feel much better.
Absolutely love your videos buddy! Such a relaxed approach. Genuinely makes my day when I see it whilst scrolling on TH-cam application. Keep up the great work 👍
@@ShervinShares that’s a great question! I love your tech videos, but sticking to food related topics, possibly Keto diet? What are your thoughts? Thanks
Quitting for only a week would give me all the worst withdrawal symptoms and not be long enough to reap the benefits. I'm on day 5 of Teeccino and decaf, I'd like to do longer than 7 days
Personally, I don't drink coffee on a regular basis and save it for special occasions like a long drive at night where I need to stay awake. It would be interesting to see a study on if used regularly how much of that productivity boost do you actually get from coffee. For me personally, though I don't consume caffeine I find myself to be a very productive individual with lots of energy. For some people who consume coffee on a regular basis I have observed that they have a bolt of energy when they first drink caffeine but overall throughout the day they have less energy and do less work because they are so dependent on the coffee high to be productive. I feel like if you had tried quitting caffeine for longer e.g. 1+ months you would see even more changes to your life.
yes i'm dependent on caffeine. i think if you can figure out how to make it work best for you. I've noticed not having caffeine until 90 min after waking helps minimize the crash & keep me focused the entire day
I'm on day 16 no caffeine and I feel way less anxiety and am sleeping much better. I miss the flavour and ritual of coffee but I have no desire to give up what i've gained, it is simply not worth it.

I've tried this before and had similar results. I also would eventually have a day where I would have 0 energy and I'd go back to it. I try to put in limits like you have but I always back slide and break my promises to reduce. Though I am going to give it another try this week. I really want to keep off of it because I do end up feeling so much better off of it.
When I give it up..I won't have it now and then. ▪︎▪︎ It's too hard. . I would rather say goodbye to it . ... And it's so expensive now. $140 for ONE MONTH ..7 days a week. 😮😮😮☝️ times that by 12 mths ... WOW !!!!!!
Just made it trough my first week without coffee, it has been a bumpy ride. Today i drank a pepsi that a friend had left at my place, it has caffein in it. I am so mad. Will i have to go trough the headachs and nausea i felt last week? Did i just F up ? Worst part is i never drink colas or w/e i never buy em either. Im such an idiot.
Thanks for the reminder to not drink crazy amounts of coffee bro! Appreciate it
balance is key, always moderate drug use

you were on my home screen and i’m now about 7 videos in. w content
Would you ever consider quitting permanently?
I’m on day 5 of no caffeine. I’m mainly quitting because of insomnia and social anxiety.
IT'S SO HARD - i would but I can't 😭😭

Great as always!
Could you pls consider making a video about smart wake up alarms.
Thank you!
YESS Like smart alarm apps or smart alarm devices?
I have quit for 2 month but there only very slight changes. I maybe feel a bit better in the morning but nothing life changing
you're not a caffeine addict like me haha
Switch to homemade Indian chai tea. Doesn’t have a caffeine crash like coffee.

Quitting anything for 7 days and saying it changed your life is absolute rubbish

i'm trying to do 1 day per week no coffee, but even then that's really hard
I tried 3 days a month ago and caved hard
LOL it's SO HARD. life without coffee = life without the will to live
