Everyone wanted the front car on the twister, but the last car on the wildcat was epic. It came off the tracks. Killer ride. Nothing will ever compare to the original gardens.

So excited to see this and Mr.Twister thanks again. I know the wildcat isn't taking home any awards and that it was a very simple low intensity out/back with some bunny hops but it was my very first wooden roller coaster ride as a little kid. I still love the way this classic wound it's way through the wooden stick forest of what was Mr.Twister and the way you would end up practically in the parking lot at literally the other end of the park on the U-turn to return. I loved seeing and hearing the trains hit that end turn with the beautifuly painted white slanted lumber bracing the track sitting near the west entrance to the park it was so exciting to see what you had in store for the day. I remember the thing looked colossal as a kid and it took a lot of coarsing to get me to reluctantly agree to go. It was all over after that I was hooked lol. Anyhow enough reminiscing thanks again!
Outstanding. I’m constantly delighted to see footage of the Twister (even POV footage), but not really any for the Wildcat. This is the next best thing. Thank you.
Great job on another coaster that's on my ridden but now defunct list . So cool you added Mr. Twister . Keep up the digital preservation on those great oldies .
this ride was so slept on cuz of mr twister being in the same park, but it looks decently good and ive heard some nice things about it from people who got to ride it, and those headchoppers look insane.
I made it in the NoLimits 2 roller coaster simulator. I found lots of photos and a few off-ride videos that helped. A good aerial photo was a big assistance too.
This was sick! I went on this coaster when I was 6.
Same!!! My first real coaster. This video is awesome but the old charm of Elitch's is what made it special.
