The guy got scared that Chris was going to fire him if he recognized him so he did all he could to avoid chis during production. Little did he know Chris knew it was him because you don’t forget people that did you dirty. Chris didn’t fire him but for some reason felt bad that dude can’t even say he knows him and has to play the background because of what he did

I have been agonizing over this one concept for most of my life. When you are not a follower and you march to the beat of your own drum, life can be very difficult and at times very lonely (but I will never stray from my principles)!

He's exaggerating for sure. But even with his exaggeration, the story he tells isn't as bad as going to school in gang infested areas.
None of them were shot or stabbed or recruited by a gang or recruited to be drug dealers. The title of the video is misleading. When he mentions the part about Chris getting put in the hospital, he clearly says they were playing soccer. It wasn't from getting beat up by racist students.
@@BruvahSulaiman i liked that he cleared the whole Eddie Murphy thing. I know now Eddie liked Chris, flew him to LA, threw him a bone, put him in 2 of his films and that’s it. I thought he was like a mentor to him or something. For years i thought Eddie put him on SNL. Ha. A buzz started cuz of Eddie though but that died down when Rock flopped on SNL and In Living Color and his films didn’t do much and he was done. From there he focused only on stand up and we know what happened after that.

Its not about winning every fight, it about how much of a fight that you put up. How much pressure you gave your opponent to the point where they know that you aint the one to be fucked with.

Gerritsen beach is one of those neighborhoods you wouldn't even know existed unless you were a truck driver, mailman or something like that. I wouldn't even think of poor people being there because the only side of it I've seen has beachfront properties on the bay
I went to grade school with Anthony, as he was known back then. We were in several classes together.
First off, he's lying about his age. He just turned 55. Second, Gerritsen Beach was not a poor community. There were some poor people there, but it was a working class, to solid middle class community.
Third, so his mother (who l remember as a loving/doting mom) used her position at the Board of Ed to get him and several of his brothers into this specific school, where they went for 7 years and yet he was treated this badly and threatened on a daily basis? Does this sound right to anyone???
Yes, there were DEFINITELY racist idiots at the school (PS 277) - it was the late 70s/early 80s, but it was nowhere near like he was making it out to be.
