Exactly its crazy that everyone is either striving to look or be a certain way, be yourself and love yourself. No ones looks are perfect, everyone has imperfections they want to change. Don’t try to mold yourself to what society thinks you should look like. Because you’re beautiful inside and out and dont forget it. Love your video and the message that came out of them.

This might have been one of my fav vlogs in so long. Everything about it. The montage, the way Justin (and those dogs) looked at you (I HEAVILY ship Montin btw), and especially you talking about how your body helps you function! I used to be SO insecure about my hands because they're pretty large and my fingers are chubby, but like... I use my hands to write, and type, and film and edit so like?? That's amazing??? lol how could I ever hate that?
I have the same insecurity about my arms and shoulders cuz I did gymnastics for 7 years but quit and now they don’t have the muscle that I used to have. I’ve been trying to come to peace with them but it’s hard especially since I do dance and I’m constantly staring at myself in a mirror but thank you Monica for spreading the message of self love and confidence! 😄❤️

I really needed this video! I’m a swimmer and my arms aren’t huge but they’re not small. And recently I’ve started looking at my shoulders as a bad thing but really, I like having muscle, I feel more confident to walk down the street and not fear people being way stronger than me. So I just need to get over my little insecurity as did you :) so thanks Monica

Dude same, used to be insecure of my arms/back bc I had hella muscle from aerial silks/lyra and wasn't dainty like everyone I saw. Its so nice falling in love with your body yknow, even though you may not think it's perfect!

loved your talk at the end! so funny because i had the exact opposite insecurity. i have tiny, thin arms that don’t have any definition and got bullied as a kid for having “stick arms”. i worked them out incessantly but they’ve never changed much! i’ve learned to just embrace them as well, because i learned that insecurities just aren’t even real. but, i just want to let you know that some people don’t “aspire” to look this way. much like you, it’s just how i am! i understand that your example was talking about editing photos to uphold a standard, and i dont agree with that either. i wanted to share my perspective so you could see the flip side too 💜 thank you for being so open with your viewers! i love how real you allow yourself to be on a platform filled with so much fakeness

I have the exact opposite arm insecurity. I grew up super skinny and had twig arms. Over the last 9 years, I've put 40lbs on my frame and still have that lingering issue with 'em. Such a non-issue to have an issue with, but it's there.

I lift weights and I have wide shoulders, too! And I love it because I’m so much stronger than I used to be and wider shoulders come with that.

This is crazy for me to watch because im from Texas and ive never been to a beach or California and it was always a dream of mine. so this past Christmas break i went to California and me and my family went to this same beach and it was such a dream come true. anyway love you monica xoxo
I’ve always been insecure about my arms. I always have been overweight and while losing weight, I gain more fat hanging on my arm. I always try to workout and get rid of them, but it doesb’t happen. For me, i have an ED so I’ll never like it but love yourself for who you are.
