I love that you’re working on a documentary to help save a historic building. Something very similar is happening where I live. There’s a historic theater that is being sold because a new performing arts center is being built. It is uncertain what will happen to the theater but something like an apartment building will probably go up in its place. It’s so sad to see history being torn down.
Girl, literally everyone I know is so upset about what they are trying to do at the Showbox. I saw one of my very first concerts there and experienced some awesome shows there. Without venues like these, small artists can't have places to perform, and large artists can't have small intimate shows. I'm so glad that you are getting involved in helping shed light to this because even while the tech industry is growing in the city, art and music have been the backbone of what Seattle is. Just think of all the music culture that wouldn't be in the world if it weren't for the music culture in this city! Can't wait to watch the video and share to spread the word about such a wonderful venue.

Registration is super expensive in Seattle because they passed a bill sometime a couple years ago to charge more on registration to help pay for the light rail. Sooo ride the light rail as much as you possibly can because you’re essentially paying for it!
YAY! Very glad vlogs are back on the dedicated channel. I also hope Ben did well with his Fantasy Football Draft. When he said he had to study for the draft I both laughed and understood ( have some friends super into it and they study too).

Omg i had no idea about them wanting to tear down the showbox. i live about 40 min away from seattle so i’ve grown up going into the city a lot and have myself seen shows in the showbox as well. it’s such a big part of seattle and it breaks my heart knowing they want to get rid of it. thank you for bringing awareness to it!! and i’m sure your documentary will turn out great, i’m excited to see it :)

Glad to see you back here, even though you're killing me today as I'm anxiously waiting to find out if I'll get approved for an affordable apartment in SLU. Just rub it in a little that so many of the luxury apartments sit empty, but surely we must need more of them to fill the city with the right kind of people. Sounds like a documentary with a lot of potential, there's so much history in the music and music in the history here.

You HAVE to take a day trip here. There are TONS of beautiful buildings and architecture here. Downtown is gorgeous. Really laid back. I think you'd like it ☺

The luxury apartments are an issue here in DFW Texas too. Sad because most people can’t afford them, and if you don’t have money you’re probably just going to buy a nice house 🤷🏼♀️

Ben! Monica is right, you need a license plate on the front and the back in Washington. I know this for fact because my car is European and doesn’t have a place for the front license plate to be attached. It was sold from a dealership like this in Seattle,. But guess what?! I got pulled over and almost got a ticket because I didn’t have my front license plate displayed. Luckily I had it in my trunk so the officer said it was fine but I would have to take it into a shop to have holes drilled into my front bumper so I could attach it! Wtf lol. Hopefully you don’t get pulled over!
Depending on the state where the car is registered/where the plates are from.. you don't need a license plate in the front.

You can also buy a magnetic type license plate holder thing so you don't need to have holes drilled in your car.

okay so you’re definitely correct... the state of Washington requires front and back plates. my current car has one Oklahoma plate on the back but one missing on the front. I haven’t been pulled over for the front license plate as of yet tho

I don't know how tabs work in the state of Washington, but in Minnesota, the amount that they charge you to renew them depends on how new or old your vehicle is. My sister only has to pay about $35 to renew hers (used 2010 vehicle), whereas mine are almost $300 (leased 2018 vehicle). I assume it's the same elsewhere in the country, but maybe not? I don't know.

Luxury apartments have a higher profit margin than other types of apartments. It's the only type of housing being built in most metropolitan areas. Until the market for luxury apartments crashes, developers will keep building them.
