A few weeks ago I became addicted to a song called "Shelter" by Porter Robinson & Madeon, after seeing many doctors I ended up deciding to quit and whilst experiencing symptoms of withdrawal, I came across this video. I will never be able to cure my addiction after this.
I've listened to this at least 50 times but every time it brings me to tears! It's been a long time since I've cried over a song! Job very well done, Akane!!
The voice acting may sound rough, but I believe it does just fine. It adds a tone to the lines that sounds raw. The voice of a good father... I may not have shed manly tears as others have, but my heart does sink a little more than before. Both because of this song, and to the impending "last song" you refer to. Just know that you'll never be alone...
We all live differently or exactly the same but there is one thing in common... we all live with one hell of a story even if its sad and filled with despair and we might even die alone and never get to see the happiness this world has to offer because of others. For that I am sorry. If god gave us a choice that letted everyone go to heaven but one person must go to hell... Then I would gladly go to hell for everyone because I love you all no matter what and even if I don't know who you are or even if you don't know who I am. You may think it strange why would I love you all but... I don't quite know why myself ^_^

I don't know why but the opening and the lil message part in the song just draws my attention! It feels like something that would go in a awesome movie! The cover itself is just too amazing for words.

i saw this before even knowing what shelter was. having only started paying attention to anime after being blown away by kimi no nawa and i thought this video was like some tribute to the end of a sad anime. so i was a little disappointed to find out shelter was actually just a music video merely minutes long. but it's the only thing which has brought tears from my eyes since i watched kimi no nawa
