Be proud of this Gem. I have watched a many varieties of journal videos. Your work is recognizable to me immediately. I like how classy you make the grunge. The Vellum paper really works. The black lace, white lace with the button came together so nice. The tiniest little envelope with magnet close is so cool. The work in the detail is so worth it. Good video again. Will go over it again of course. I'm way behind, it is okay. The turtle finally arrives, slowly but surely.

For those who don't have a printer, aliexpress has quite nice vintage preprinted vellum, they're usually A5 sheets, and they work quite well for these type of projects
Ooooh so pretty and beautifully executed! And you honor women's month too, yay! The front cover worked out perfectly for that didn't it? Loved all of everything; the papers lace, the buttons, the angled embellies, etc. Thank you for taking us along on the process. Are you going to continue working in it to show us more? I like how you ensure continuity of look and feel throughout the journal. So there’s some planning upfront that happens but it doesn’t squelcher creativity as you execute the pages. Nice!

Dein Journal ist wieder traumhaft schön! 😍 Die Kits kann man ja richtig schön kombinieren… du zauberst etwas wunderschönes und völlig neues daraus. Es bekommt dann deinen Stil und das finde ich gut. Auf Vellum drucke ich auch super gerne, das ergibt immer so einen tollen Effekt ☺️...ich finde, dass Art Glitter Glue ganz gut auf „der Diva“ hält 😂, aber Nähen ist natürlich noch hübscher 👍 und Kleber sieht man immer irgendwie...Ich danke dir für die 2 schönen Videos 🤗!

Barbara your work and style are brilliant. Videos and journals. Idea, have you tried coffee or tea dying your buttons. Coloured and white ones. Make a cup of coffee and put in microwave to boil up. Interesting effect. Ty

Love love 💗!!! I’m not a huge green fan.. but that shade is perfect!!!.. And the vellum is just so perfect w/ the images you have used!!! Your dyed papers are so very nice as well...The journal I’m doing now has an insert made w/ envelopes... turned out to be too large for the cover I had planned... so it’s back to the drawing board!!! I’m using Thomas Kinkaid fabric for the cover...Looks a bit Monet ish!!! Hope I can pull it all together!!! The other evening was working on it ....looked at the clock...It was 2 AM!! So I get it!!! LOL 😻

Barbara, absolutely love this journal. Love the fashions. I always say I was born in the wrong fashion era. LOL! And YES I have sewn signatures in wrong before. Not upside down but the wrong order of how I wanted them. And that perfectionism sure makes me do things over. TFS! ❤️

I love this whole project, Barbara. Especially the ephemera that you added-the use of vellum, the shrunk down pages, the little side tucks. The stamps you used were perfect. And, btw, the cover turned out so lovely! I’d love to see how you actually use this journal-not what you write but where you write and what you write about and what else you might use it for. The theme is a wonderful idea. Will you write about women’s issues? xo
