Be proud of this Gem. I have watched a many varieties of journal videos. Your work is recognizable to me immediately. I like how classy you make the grunge. The Vellum paper really works. The black lace, white lace with the button came together so nice. The tiniest little envelope with magnet close is so cool. The work in the detail is so worth it. Good video again. Will go over it again of course. I'm way behind, it is okay. The turtle finally arrives, slowly but surely.

For those who don't have a printer, aliexpress has quite nice vintage preprinted vellum, they're usually A5 sheets, and they work quite well for these type of projects
I am speechless!!! Thanks so much for doing a 20's style fashion book. When the calendar turned over to 2020 I had the same thought (a roaring 20s journal). But then the pandemic hit and my thought was pushed to the back of my mind. Thanks for reminding me and inspiring me to pick it up again 💕

I like how you ensure continuity of look and feel throughout the journal. So there’s some planning upfront that happens but it doesn’t squelcher creativity as you execute the pages. Nice!

Barbara your work and style are brilliant. Videos and journals. Idea, have you tried coffee or tea dying your buttons. Coloured and white ones. Make a cup of coffee and put in microwave to boil up. Interesting effect. Ty

I am so happy to choose and print out lots of pages, etc from DCC...then I look at everything I have printed and have no idea what to do now. I never have the ideas you come up with. sigh. When I watch your videos, I go run to my art room....then sit there wondering what to do. However, I love every single thing you have done in this beautiful journal.
Thank you Siobhan! It probably takes a bit of practice to come up with different ideas. Learn by doing what others do and then you will develop your own style with time.

Love love 💗!!! I’m not a huge green fan.. but that shade is perfect!!!.. And the vellum is just so perfect w/ the images you have used!!! Your dyed papers are so very nice as well...The journal I’m doing now has an insert made w/ envelopes... turned out to be too large for the cover I had planned... so it’s back to the drawing board!!! I’m using Thomas Kinkaid fabric for the cover...Looks a bit Monet ish!!! Hope I can pull it all together!!! The other evening was working on it ....looked at the clock...It was 2 AM!! So I get it!!! LOL 😻
