I have the 1.5TB and had the same issue. I moved over a 3GB game and it took 10GB. I did get it to work though. Here is how I did it. 1.) Write zzblank image to the sd card using Win32 Disk Imager. 2.) Open an elevated command prompt. 3.) Run this command: format e: /a:64k /fs:exfat /q (obviously pick the right drive letter in place of "e"). After this the storage report correctly. Also I have a OLED 1100 model.
I had a 1tb Sandisk Ultra card no such issues using the YAMT (Yet Another Mounting Tool) plugin method a fair while back, though I had some issues pushing content across over FTP which was always solved using a usb connection. The real problem I had was loading so many games, especially into adrenaline caused major slowdown in the psp games list menu, the occasional crashing, and sometimes games just not displaying properly, the faster you try navigate the menu the worse the problems got. I eventually downsized to a 512gb card, and only loaded games I was actually interested in playing. I know for media players like plex, they say you want 1gb ram for each terabyte of storage used, with only 512mb ram, going beyond 512gb sd card might just be a bridge too far for the little vita.
I tried using this card with my vita, I never got it working. I honestly think the system is limited to 1TB. It shows correctly but writes incorrectly. Before i abandoned using it i loaded everything from pc , though it wasn't showing everything after 800GB. Now i have the 1.5TB in my steam deck working flawlessly. Honestly, I believe this mod never expected 1- 2tb. Or the vita software was never programed to expected this large, considering 64GB was the biggest sony ever created themselves.
i have a 1tb card working on my vita it’s only half way filled at 538 gb rn and i think the vita just can’t handle that much memory but if i filled it more to maybe 700 gb i think livearea will frameskip really bad
the same thing, more than 512gb no sense, good games on vita a little more than 200, and on psp cannot fit more than 128, so half of psp games keep on another vita
He didn't say where he got it from ("Amazon" does not count, 99% of their inventory is counterfeit), what he paid (Real 1.5tb cards from sandisk are not cheap, ~$110) and he didn't mention h2testw. The thing that caught my eye was the printing on the card and the adapter, didn't include the card stock in his video either. It's mandatory that every card which passes through this house is scanned for fakes before it's used. Doesn't matter where it comes from. Do not listen to the user who said "Get your card from Walmart" because every online retailer (and some b&m) is plagued with this issue.
Is it possible to use and install the 1TB memory card I have only been seeing the limit is 512GB is there a way around this or a tutorial I can follow bc I’m getting a vita soon and wanna use the 1TB
Not true. I have a 1 tb. You can use all kind of memory card even if it's 1 or 2 TB. You just need to format it with zzblank and put 64kb of cluster size.
@@DaOptimus1 I am no expert, modded mine few years ago and remember hearing that you couldn't expand the memory that high. Thanks for tightening me up. And thanks to all those working to make the impossible possible with the Vita.

That's what I did and still no luck
Your allocation unit size is wrong format the card manually on your pc with the correct allocation unit size selected.
Mine has 256GB but I got two of them for each VITA.
I got a 1tb lexar card n works fine. No issues.
I also strugglet . I endet Up by an 512 Card. And i am fine with it. Over 200 Vita Games and over 100 PSP games

My guess is that the sd card is a fake card. There are lots of Fake sandisk cards on Amazon unfortunately.
I'll try that and see what I come up with
Yeah. Get your card from Walmart
That’s not the issue, a couple of people have had the same problem with the 1.5T micro sd card

@@RoblesJuniorVery true. I’ve heard the same…
I was just getting ready to use my 1.5tb card. I did just receive an extra 1tb card that I am going to try.
Let me know your results
@@RoblesJunior quick question...how can I get in contact with you?
@@RoblesJunior worked out just fine except that it’s full now. I’ve got to go through and thin out some of the games I want be playing.
Rebuild database have you tried it yet
I have tried that and it actually makes it worse, it doesn't boot up into my SD card and feezes
Get just a 1 TB card sandisk and no worries.
The point is, does the memory card support max 1TB to 1.5TB or maybe up to 2TB? Thanks
try using the homebrew "Is it fake?" maybe you have more information about your SD it sounds like it's a fake sd

Desconecta la bateria y vuelve a conectarla, asi lo arreglé yo
Maybe it's like on os drives, and it preallocated some space?
Can you make a video on how to update from ark 4 with infinity cfw to ark 4 CIPL psp 3000
yep 100% fske
Vita doesn’t support > 500 GB
Correct, it can't comprehend that much space available. When vita came out SD cards that size didn't exist.
