The thing that makes this stand out more, is how most other mappers, just are lazy and say "Yep, Serbia is better, so serbia pushes in, and done". This, however, shows how different things happen, in order and even types out events. this is WAY more realistic than what other mappers would do. Keep up the great work, and I hope for a part 2

yeah thats what i love about this invasion of kosovo scenario, also the map is very unique and shows the units small and slow, which makes it look more technical and better, i love it, it isnt simplified at all and you can see the mountains, rivers, and even some small cities nobody knew about, its very realistic and not made easily

This is strange case.
One one side,UN could not condemn Serbia for aggression as its not attacking sovereign and fully recognized state and Serbia could claim they are just returning rogue territory(similarly to Azerbaijan attacking Nagorno-Karabakh)
This would definitely lead to Albanian involvement in war,so it would be interesting to see how NATO would react,as some would pretty much be on board to fight war against Serbia(Looking at you Croatia,Montenegro and N.Macedonia and maybe Hungary)but others would not be so much.
On paper,Serbia has bigger and better equipt army than both Kosovo and Albania combined,in reality,I think all 3 are crap plagued by corruption and despite people believing Serbia is Russian oriented nation,it's government is basically western puppet that does what US and EU asks them to do.
This would undoubtably lead to ethnic cleansing the size Europe has not seen since WW2(well given what Albanians did in 2004,could you blame Serbs for returning the favor?)
Both sides would have equally high moral for different reasons.
Political ramifications for Serbia would be big,especially from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina where whole political campings are stopping "Greater Serbia" and to even further division among their populaces

@@rndrps1 We still wont use force as we are a neutral country. Honestly i sometimes hate USA and mostly bash NATO for occurance, we wont attack anybody. I think this situation still needs to be solved diplomatically but i guess thats how it goes with other unrecognized countries.
@@rndrps1 Russia will probably be done with Ukraine by the end of the year by taking part of Ukraine and making other part of Ukraine demilitarized military neutral country.
However, I think Serbia will not ask Russia for help to take back Kosovo de-facto. I think some compromise and deal between Belgrade and Pristina will be achieved. Something like Dayton 2. Or it will remain frozen conflict.
As albanians start to realize that Us power is in slow but steady decline (Us absolutely must not and will not intervene in Ukraine) and as the world becomes multipolar with China as world new leading power, I think they will be more ready to really negotiate and sign compromise deal with Belgrade.
Time is not working for them. Real compromise would be both sides getting something.

The detail is absolutely amazing. But i have to say something. I dont think Mitrovica would fall that easily. I mean sure the northern part of the city is all serbs, but the southern part of the city is all albanians. Plus i dont think the albanians would give up on trepca (the richest mine in southern balkan). But everything else is very well done.

It is interesting how armies on your videos does not recognize natural bariers except the rivers. While the small kosovos rivers would actually represent no major obstacles for Serbian engineering units. Try to learn geology of your region, Balkan mapping, you will understand it would go much different on offensive and defensive. But I give you 10 for effort

Also Albania and Croatia would interfere much sooner before Serbian forces took almost half of kosovo. But never mind, it is chanel for fun and not for military strategy anyway

i really like the animation you do and its awesome.
now i must say something that most people will disagree is that the situation we have with Kosovo is because of the Ottoman Empire. before you go all bananas on me just hear me out first. during the ottoman invasion we can see just how similar our histories are. just take the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti for example. he fought against the Islamization of Albania and did it very good. the hero was buried in a Church of Saint Nicholas that was later turned into Selimije Mosque after Ottoman conquest. what i am trying to say is the deep hatred Ottoman muslims had for Christians are still visible today. i am not saying christians where any better. all i am saying is when two religions of that period meet on the same ground one will suffer, its inevitable. first we can see in history that albanians where christians and when ottoman conquered them they converted to islam( like the majority of the contries of that time did) but when the people started to fight for there independence they stayed muslim while the rest of the countries converted back to there original religion. the key difference with balkan countries is that compared to the rest of the world religion was very important and when we freed our selfs from ottoman rule we want to erase every trace of ever happening because it will remind us of the horrible times of being slaves. if we united during the ottoman invasion we would not have situation today where there is constant hatred of two different ethnicities. as someone who is a Serb i can say hatred for Muslims is still visible today and i can tell you they dont teach us in school to hate, people begin to hate when they learn the history of what others did to us. i can understand albanians for hating serbian people. what i am as a single person interested in is if Serbia accept Kosovo as part of Albania( i truly believe Albanians from Kosovo should be united from the rest of the Albanians and not form some stupid Country) who will guarantee that Serbian history will not be erased like albanians tried to do.

The concept of Kosovo as a state and not a region or province is just unrealistic and not normal.
i think that Albania and Serbia should just split it between the Albanian majority parts and the Serbian majority parts. That is just my opinion though.
