Loved the ride; I felt like I was right there! I would have been terrified if I really was there, though. You did great, JP! Thanks for taking us along and hello to the family; was nice to see them again! …..🌝
Jay, I've been watching you for years and your bridge crossings and now this bobsled thing show how much you've improved handling heights!!!! It's really nice to see you and the family! Cheers, Rik Spector
One of the best ones around! We were just there last Friday and did a night ride which is really cool, it might help you with the height issue. I'll post the video soon, so much video to edit from everything we did during our 7 day stay.
Oh my goodness JP....... Bugger that! . I was glued to the screen and holding my breath for much of the ride. You are very brave. Thank you for the experience and believe me, that will be as close as I'll ever get to riding a roller-coaster.
Very thrilling! I remember the first time you rode this, you did good and it was pretty funny 😂 This time you did really good and there were some funny parts to this ride too lol, but you actually did very awesome JP! The views are beautiful, and you had a gorgeous day! What a fun family time for all of you! Wonderful video, thank you! 💙
Thanks for taking us along with you, YOU DID GREAT!! I myself would have had a heart attack going around those high curves at full speed!! Thanks for sharing so now I can mark that off my bucket list without writing it down lol
JP, really enjoyed your video and thank you for taking me along with you on your ride! Wish Oklahoma had some alpine coasters! That looked soooooo fun.
LOVED this ride!! Would totally ride this if in the area! Gorgeous views! So proud of you, Jay, for conquering your fear!!💙Great to see Jill and Lil, too!😊Thanks so much for the tips and for bringing us along on this fun ride!😊💙
This was exhilarating for me to watch! I'm glad you were able to give it full throttle this time. The only mountain coaster I've ridden is the one at Camelback in Tannersville, PA. I was full-throttle the whole way on that one. The new mountain coasters are a lot safer than the old alpine slides which I used to enjoy. I've never been to Pigeon Forge but I'll be sure to check it out if I'm ever in the area. Thanks for sharing the ride with us!
@@JPVideos81 it's been quite a long time since I rode it, and I'd like to do that again sometime too. I love the Zip Flyer there as well, but I'm guessing that's something you wouldn't try?
I remember an earlier video of you on this! It's pretty scary but, heck we all need to be put out of our comfort range! Just a few oh God's and Holy craps...and it's all good! 😅
That is really cool. I hope to get down there sometime. I'm crazy enough to go full throttle through there. LOLOLOL MUCH respect for doing it. It must have been an amazing experience.
Hey, you got it out of granny gear this time😂! That looks like so much fun. I saw an alpine coaster when we were in Germany, but it was closed the day we were there...not good timing...who goes to the ALPS and doesn't ride an ALPINE coaster?😅 gonna plan better next time we're over there lol. That was an awesome ride, thanks for taking us there again!
I just rode this today and really enjoyed it. It’s my first alpine coaster since I was a kid. Loved the scenery and sense of speed(I know you aren’t really going that fast) and the helixes provided great laterals
Ya did great! Felt like I was on it with you. Loved it with the music too. I would love to ride it but I'd have a hard time getting on it and it's even worse for me trying to get off of it. I would go full speed. Can tell you ain't no southern boy. 50 degrees and you got shorts on. I'd be geared up for winter. Rofl! Thanks for the fun video.
That looks like a lot of fun, I'm of the faster the better crowd. Each time you ride it, Jay, your speed increases, so maybe a few more rides, and you'll be going full tilt. 👍🏻🤙
So how does this play out time/line wise? My concern is always I want to fly as fast as possible, but the person who went in front of me is a brake checking chicken. Do they have daredevil days? Do they space out the riders to take that into consideration?
Videos like these makes me slightly sad that the NL is just too small and flat for these types of rides. I would LOVE this! ❤ Did it once in Germany, so much fun !
Have never riden on one of these we have one just over the mountains, and never will I hate coasters. Am both impressed and surprised how long it took for them to create them since they only use gravity.
Once went Mach 2.5 on a roller coaster in Hershey park in pa that was the last time I rode on a roller coaster what a way to go out 🎉❤can’t do anymore due to health issues
That track takes a long time to go down< I have been to another, you ride a lift up then go down. That was really long and fast run ! great time tho huh ?
I have decided that I would ride that. It's the closest thing to riding a life as I'll ever get! I once dream I was flying through Denver on a luge...only it was all sand and palm trees! Yes! I want to ride!
well for anyone who suffers from motion sickness you absolutely need to get a pair of magnetic bracelets for me I take ginger pills if I go on steep hills with my bracelets on an hour before I leave the house and then I don’t feel anything after that 😊
Next time you're insecure about riding an alpine coaster, just play danger zone at max volume and let go of the breaks, you'll love it. Power though the danger zone.
How fast is full speed.U wouldn't drive with me.I wanted to be a Nascar driver .And I driving in to turns on my favorite stretch of route 61 .They are soon going to have all the cool turns gone. But I saw low 80,S on that highway. Its like a Minny Short track
Thanks for riding with me. How did I do this time???
You did great ! 👍 Me ....not so well ...LOL ...
Haha you did very well! 😂
you did a whole lot better than I would have. most likely I would have been on the brake more than necessary.
Yay! You did it! Good job.
Looks like so much fun.
Keep doing it until you can go all the way full speed.
Loved the ride; I felt like I was right there! I would have been terrified if I really was there, though. You did great, JP! Thanks for taking us along and hello to the family; was nice to see them again! …..🌝

I’ve always wanted to try that!!! Had a blast riding with you!!!! I’ll probably be watching this a few times living my dreams!!!
Awesome ride!!!! Love mountain coasters!!!! You did well !!!!
You're more brave than I JP! Cool video!!! ❤
Fun full speed ahead JP. 😁😄😃
Looks like an awesome ride. Enjoy your vacation with your family ❤
Proud of you JP. Hope you enjoyed that ride. ❤
Thanks
That ride reminds me of the Olympic bobsled tracks....but with rails on it....I love it with the music on it
Yes it does. Some places still have the traditional alpine slides that use a pipe.
I was impressed and very proud of you
Thank you! 💙

If it's above the 40s, that's shorts weather for me.
You know Jay. I remember you riding that before and this time you did much better than I would on it. Me and heights don't mix either my friend lol.
Great video!
My husband and grandson road the Alpine Coaster in Oberammergau, Germany in 2021-ski slope

So much fun. We did one of these in South Dakota. My yougest son skipped it because he's afraid of heights. He says he wishes he would have done it.
I was afraid too, but it's fun

They are spaced out and if you're stuck behind a slow rider you can ask to go again.

Yes you did it. If you did it like 10 times in a row it would probably be a breeze for you 💙
I agree. Next time no brakes hopefully.
7:34 Is it an artifact created by your camera or was that bush/little tree pink?
Makes me want to ride this 😊

It's a unique attraction in the beautiful Smoky mountains
Good job
Good to see its advertized 2nd longest like i said in 2019

I don't like roller coasters, but I would definitely ride that. Looks pretty relaxing to me.
It's unique and the ride up is very relaxing.
That looks so fun. Next time I visit the area, I’m trying this. Only one in the area I have ridden is Goats on the Roof coaster.
There's several to choose from, but this is the longest one in the Smokies
Good job dude, i would definitely have a death grip on those break handles lol.

Around 25mph, but it feels much faster.
You should have used this song: 'Sykotik Sinfoney' by Manic Depresso
Jay I like heights but not coasters can't take that sudden drop but you have brakes great ride great video thanks
I like that you have some control of the ride, but it's pretty unique compared to traditional coasters.
Congrats for going faster good times

I miss the old alpine slides with concrete tracks, no safety nets and sleds that may or may not have working brakes.
There's still a few of those around

well for anyone who suffers from motion sickness you absolutely need to get a pair of magnetic bracelets for me I take ginger pills if I go on steep hills with my bracelets on an hour before I leave the house and then I don’t feel anything after that 😊
Imagine if the handles had no effect on the ride, just there to give you the impression that you're in control.
There's a couple of songs that I think would go good with this track, but would probably get you flagged. Like Danger Zone or ONE VISION.
There's definitely many good songs, but I have to use copyright friendly material.
The U.K has a stand up roller coaster.
Next time you're insecure about riding an alpine coaster, just play danger zone at max volume and let go of the breaks, you'll love it. Power though the danger zone.
