There will be cross traffic which will cause hindrance to Highway traffic. The route as per my opinion will be while coming from pashan take right from viva inn and then take left and join service road that goes to Kothrud.
Instead, just build over bridge from current road from pashan to satara bound traffic. Mumbai to pune city traffic from highway can pass underneath like it does now. Similar overbridge can be constructed for satara to pashan traffic(same as of now, just an over bridge). This way pune city to Mumbai traffic won't be interrupted.

Instead of constructing all these they should have constructed Pune Ring Road ( _pending project since 1997_ ), it could have reduced *80%* traffic in Pune City and only some improvements could have been done on Chandani Chowk Flyover And all those who say that even Pune Ring Road causes damage to nature, we can't listen to you this time.
If you go by Pune traffic mentality, these 2 roundabouts will cause the most bottlenecks. Avoid these as traffic is not disciplined to follow roundabouts like western worlds.
I think the purpose is to only isolate NH from City roads so that there is a minimum disturbance in NH traffic. Otherwise punekars can wait on rotaries if bottlenecking happens😅

In the mornings traffic from kothrud to chandni chowk (1 kilometer) takes 45 minutes at least and and in the evening, chellaram hospital to kothrud exit takes 2 hours daily, we are daily commuters burning our fuel as well as energy for your dreams. Project is badly messed up, all tracks are partially developed but work has sort of stopped due to land acquisition issues. Its like going through the hell every morning and the evening. If the hinjewadi IT companies start the 100% working from office then traffic scene will be a nightmare further. Gadkari has no clue of how to plan and execute project in populated and heavily traffic areas. As per plan there are going to be many sharp turns, those are going to cause traffic issues, there are many interchanges and parallel mergers that's going to to cause many accidents. Worst planning ever and its going to take ages to complete the project. If the land was not acquired, then why the hell you started the project? Why courts are permitted to intervene in the development of such a crucial and critical highways? Who are the land owners who raised the disputes in the courts? fetch them on the streets and make them stand in the traffic chaos everyday. Make them pay for the fue and time people are wasting due to them. And most importantly, get Mr. Gadkari to travel everyday from Mumbai (chellaram flyover) to Kothrud Depot in the evening, he should drive himself, without red light vehicle and he shouldn't be escorted by his convoy. Pay for people's excess fuel burn as well as pay for hourly price to every traveller on the basis of his hourly earnings. Once he project is over, this is going to be the worst project ever as its primarily designed by Pune Municipal Corporation with the help of the consultants who were probably offered the work on the basis of lowest tender as per government norms. Or some incapable consultants near and dear ones of someone. One's vision is going to be torture for a life time for many.

Rotaries on both the side of the flyover/junction are going to be blocked mostly always. Why not a dedicated ramp for the Pashan Mumbai side and Kothrud-Mulshi-Kothrud side. These are the pain points that are not addressed at all. Flawed design, I must say!

Extremely complicated to understand.... They could have simply done a comparison of what is current situation and how it will change in future. For example how traffic flows from bhugaon today and how it will change with new bridges, then next how traffic flows from kothrud today and how it will change in future and so on....

Madam, please ensure that the HCMTR project is not scrapped!!!!!! The inner transit corridor is infact equally- if not more- important than the Outer Ring Road. Ajit Pawar has asked PMC to scrap the project after objections from NGOs! But, it has repeatedly been established that NGOs in Pune are useless with an enormous nuisance factor!!!! Ajit Pawar also hasn’t proved to be very trustworthy in solving the city’s problems over last decade when they were last in power!!!

अजून एक महत्वाची गोष्ट म्हणजे पुण्यात हायवे झाला रे झाला की त्याच्या भरोश्यावर real estate developement होत जाते. हाय वे हा city road नाही. त्यामुळे city traffic high way वर येणार नाही याचीही काळजी घेणे आवश्यक आहे.
Plan is really good i like it really so much i wish it comes true early in our pune city but there is one condition occurs if suppose a vehicle takes wrong turn if he want to go from mumbai highway he comes out from high way to service road then how he will join again mumbai highway to continue a highway...... i thing it happens then he has to face more long distance to go out again on highway so think about it and its my personal opinion so don’t take it seriously just i thing it happens so I’m told it it is my just curry.......
Madam, please ensure that the HCMTR project is not scrapped!!!!!! The inner transit corridor is infact equally- if not more- important than the Outer Ring Road. Ajit Pawar has asked PMC to scrap the project after objections from NGOs! But, it has repeatedly been established that NGOs in Pune are useless with an enormous nuisance factor!!!! Ajit Pawar also hasn’t proved to be very trustworthy in solving the city’s problems over last decade when they were last in power!!!
Ideally, शहर विकासाचा जो development plan असायला हवा तो आहे असे वाटत नाही. नागपूरला जशी NIT नावाची संस्था आहे तशी पुण्याला हवीच हवी. जे नवे भाग विकसित होताहेत जे कसे असावेत त्याची connectivity कशी असेल हे सर्व ह्या संस्थेच्या अखत्यारीत असावे.

Please do not give this contract to the foolish anil ambani reliance group who is damaging the pune satara national highway portion for 7 years now .... He has collected around 1500 crore through till now ..... Nearly 200 crore every year..... But the work completed is not even 50 percent of the original 1700 crore of the proposed expenditure
With this proposed development it will be much longer and time consuming route for Bavdhan residents going towards pirangut. There should have been shorter route
