Man I hate when u click the charge attack move but it just doesn’t work and ur pokemon dies or they use theirs first. It’s so frustrating. Also yeah, why does “weak connection” clock in at the worst time???

The lag can be so brutal sometimes. I usually just stop playing if it gets bad enough where I lose a game because of it. It’s better to wait it out instead of risking the elo

i don't care if the opponent hard counters me, but I hate it when i can't play the game. these weak connections and other gbl bugs are why I just can't take gbl seriously, I doubt they'll ever fix it, the regional tournament in Brisbane Australia recently didn't even have a stream. esports ready

The stuttering is abysmal. There's almost no point for me to play. Even when an opponent swaps IN a mirror, they get to their charge move before me despite losing a turn for the swap.
Yeah, I've seen some pretty ridiculous stuff. In the moment it can be really frustrating and make me not want to play. Taking multiple days off throughout the season has helped me a lot in not really caring about my ELO and what happens in battles lol
I s2g playing on WiFi makes the battles so much worse, I find myself turning off WiFi mid battle all the time and immediately I stop getting the “weak connection” message
This entire season I've turned off wifi and used mobile data because the stutters and lag were unbearable. Mobile Data is the only way to get consistency now unfortunately.

I haven’t played as much in the past couple of years, under 300 battles this season, currently in ACE 2100+ and I tried this team and also went 1-4. I miss the days of the double ice Ultra league. I remember playing over 1,000 matches per season and hovering around Veteran and Expert. How do you maintain the enthusiasm?
I don't, I usually skip about 40-50 days of the season, which is around 90 days total in length. Only reason I even try to play is because of this channel and the people who watch.
@@oxfordu All I am saying is your device as good as it may be, is still juggling two connections if they are both using this bridge or merge setting and you will get latency when it does this. An MMO, stream, browsing will never notice, But P2P you definitely will.

i tried making PvP videos... can't believe how smoothly these are cut and editted 😪
I do spend a lot of time editing/cutting them so that they transition smoothly. Especially with the 1 minute time limit for shorts, it can get tricky.

Happened several times when I was closed to Veteran. Some glitches always happened at the crucial junctures of the game.

Turn off mobile data all together and only play on wifi. Most phones will use data from both connections and say it smooths stuff out
I use both, sometimes one works better than the other.
