Zombie was written in reference to the Warrington bomb. Its supposed to reflect shame, not pride in our history of the troubles. It seems you weren't aware of that. Thankfully we are a lot more peaceful nowadays and a united Ireland looks to be a possibility in the not too distant future.
This has always been one of those songs that just resonates with me. I absolutely love Dolores O'Riordan original but this cover is by far the best cover I have ever heard. Bad Wolves did it justice but this is in a totally different style that just blows me away. Never stop singing Chris...love your songs!

My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!
