Ulcerate - Stare Into Death and Be Still is my favourite album of the year.
Jamie is just so powerful and creative as a drummer, there is a mix of pure aggression and a combined tribal and jazzy feel that lay the atmosphere of the songs.
Those guys are just so brilliant in their songwriting and the way they turned Technical Death Metal into something atmospheric!

It’s actually how I first discovered your channels Andrew, while searching for Mark Rees content.
Always thought his style was awesome , quite un- metal in some ways. I dunno, just resonates for me & Subtract remain in my regular playlist to this day.
