There are small exceptions- there are a handful of blacks that joined Hispanic gangs while on the streets. When they come into the system they tend to have serious problems. Not only will brothers test them, but the Hispanics will test them, and make them put in some serious work to be accepted in prison. A non affiliated black can go to jail or prison and end up being recruited by a black street gang or prison gang. It happens quite often.

I did a stretch at Indiana State Prison and Westville from 1993-2004. It's no joke. Being race friendly is out the gate when you walk through them gates and your whole perception on life and your purpose changes 180 degrees. Either for the better or worse. Some people get out hungry for success and become successful no matter how many times they get told no or get turned away. Some get out and use their criminal record as a crutch and let excuses take over ambition. Some get out as monsters thinking the world owes them something and end up back in prison within the first year of getting released. All the horror stories people of hear about prison did happen the first 3 years I was locked up. But alot of it diminished around 1996 when prison went from being wide open to controlled movement. But dont get it twisted. If you go in there on that B.S you will get your ass handed to you. I wouldn't care how big you are or how known you are.When I got released. I had a 430 bench press.575 squat.650 dead lift. 5ft9 225lb frame ripped up. Pumping iron,ab wheel and education was my life for over 10 years. Even though I looked like I was no joke. I didnt for one second look at my surroundings as a joke.

Be honest this was a wonderful interview he speaking the truth when people say prisoners cool fuck out of here no is not at all when you hear the stories like that sometimes you got a fight your enemies you got a fight your friends from a different race or indifferent or vice versa because of some situation you have to pick a side because of the colors or whatever it is sometime as a man it’s hard to separate that when we go through in life man this is was a powerful message for everybody to understand what’s going on in the prison system Race war in the prison line

I did a stretch at Indiana State Prison and Westville from 1993-2004. It's no joke. Being race friendly is out the gate when you walk through them gates and your whole perception on life and your purpose changes 180 degrees. Either for the better or worse. Some people get out hungry for success and become successful no matter how many times they get told no or get turned away. Some get out and use their criminal record as a crutch and let excuses take over ambition. Some get out as monsters thinking the world owes them something and end up back in prison within the first year of getting released. All the horror stories people of hear about prison did happen the first 3 years I was locked up. But alot of it diminished around 1996 when prison went from being wide open to controlled movement. But dont get it twisted. If you go in there on that B.S you will get your ass handed to you. I wouldn't care how big you are or how known you are.When I got released. I had a 430 bench press.575 squat.650 dead lift. 5ft9 225lb frame ripped up. Pumping iron,ab wheel and education was my life for over 10 years. Even though I looked like I was no joke. I didnt for one second look at my surroundings as a joke.
This violence breaking out could be devastating for both sides. They need to find a way to get off this path.
Facts been in so many riots . In la county jail we was in an 80 man dorm with 7 blacks and it went up. And a youngster who was a non affiliated got hurt so bad. I wanted to cry

But sometimes I feel stories are heavily exaggerated.
Those numbers are actually about right for a fare fight in prison.. Its deep when he said you become friends with these dudes, sharing books and talking about freedom.. But when it goes down. We ain't friends no more
