Daiwa Tatula BF 70 is just Daiwa Salamandura Air TW and the Daiwa PX BF is just the Alphas Air TW, it’s nothing different much, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all that Daiwa just rebrand 2yrs old reel for the American market

They did. And it kinda sux as a Diawa fan. But! I'll move on to another brand to start off with. Then I'll move up to a Diawa or a Shimano once I got the hang of BFS. Otherwise, I got 4 spinning set ups that can do it for now

The PX BF 70 is the US Market version of the Aplhas Air TW.

I wish i could tell the difference between the two models, aside from $120 more for PX. I know the px has more bearings, but its lacking the hyperdrive system from what i can tell.

^^^^ what he said. It does have hyperdrive, and the spool is like 2 or 3 grams lighter if I remember correctly. I can afford either at the moment. But, save a few bucks. Order a salamadura air TW or however it's listed now on CDM site. Perhaps an uglier color combo. But pretty much the same reel . But it's tatula variant here. Salamandura is the lower price model and can't remember the name of the Higher model equivalent over seas.
In any case. Great reels I'm sure.
