Couple of tips, depending on your build this may vary Drought, and added damage to monsters do practically nothing if you treat this as the sekhemas, just don't get hit Lightning area is harmless alone below lvl3, but annoying when combined with other area restrictions such as the heart of impending doom NOW VOLATILE SHITS...... More rares and more mods on rares is DPS dependant, if you can't one shot rares you should avoid it. Corrupted Blood pyramid can be rolled under Vaal machinations are resistance dependant, if capped they are pretty manageable. Poison and bleed on hit is manageable on EV builds. Invincible shade is instant lost run. Physical circles that cover half the map are 90% lost run. More chaos damage is potential op for some builds like high HP capped C res and CI builds but otherwise very dangerous . 300% CRIT can fuck you up but is preferable over shade and physical circles. I have completed my ascendancy on chaos, I've killed trial master at least 20 times because I enjoy the fight. I have ran probably 100+ chaos runs. Ama if anybody has troubles.
I did enjoyed more and can manage, your priority list is basically when I got after 2-3 runs The easy, bad, impossible type of modifiers, i tend to pick the "bad" before easy ones, so it's more likely by the finishing rooms the easy will show up and I can pick those instead of a an array of only bad/impossible ones
@Davidlavieri you keep all mods throughout the 10 room run so it doesn't matter tho. If you pick a medium or bad one early then there is a high chance you'll be forced to upgrade it later down the line. A good example for this is coagulated blood. It's a medium severity mod for me but on lvl 2 and 3 it becomes an issue especially in the blood bird fight. So if I can take an easy mod instead like fire or lightning projectiles then they are an instant pick as they are basically a non factor mod.
Trial of chaos is super easy for me. I farm it to take a break from mapping. Im CI so I take the 50% chaos dmg 😂. Cannot be slowed, globules, all the turrets except petrify, the omnitecht, monsters have additional affixes, monsters slow on hit, blood hearts, lightning first two lvls. Those are all great to take and be safe.
@Psykaitic i need to test some stuff (if its more worth sell the keys and souls core of if its more worth to scrap them and hunt for azpaca) and then I liked the plenty xp and the money making so 🤣
Some of the effects are just so much worse than others, makes me kinda feel like the trials is random chance. I've finished runs with stuff like "enemies causs grasping vines on hit" "enemies can't be slowed" etc which have little to no effect, and I've had other runs nuked by needing to pick between boss one shots, no defences etc.
