Exactly what I thought, it’s why my and my father always carry handguns when we go camping. Even though those guys were 3 they had nothing to protect themselves with, poor girl. Shudder to think at what she endured before her certain death

I was getting pissed off at every minute detail and the cow bit was so in depth I was like hurry up ffs cos I thought the climax would be next.. But no... That was it 🤦♀️

Drunk people definitely make it Scarier when I was camping one time an old lady came out of her house and came over to where my tent was and while me and my girlfriend were just relaxing she started talking to us and asking us questions. We’re also 15 so there’s that too it’s not like she’s talking to other adults. My dad ended up coming over to where we were and yelling at her to leave but it didn’t make it any less scary

The build up to the end of the second story was glorious; so unexpected and so anticlimactic that I was laughing like a hyena.
Had to stay up one night during a camping trip to keep the fire alive because we were getting circled by coyotes that wanted our food. Not super scary but I’ll never forget the little glowing eyes in every direction

Ever heard of just carrying a gun while out camping? Coyotes are pathetic. Even in a pack you shoot one or two and they'll start eating them or just run away.
@@tomkee4479where I grew up the coyotes are the least of your concerns. A mountain lion stalking around your campsite is something to be really worried about. A grizzly rummaging around by your campsite is something that'll cause you to lose bowel control.

I've been thinking about camping every night for the last few months as I lay in bed trying to sleep. Love these camping horror stories more then others.

I saw a episode of unsolved mysteries as a kid, about these kids camping out in their back yard. Well during the night someone unloaded a shotgun into the boys tent killing all 3-4 of them. That has never left my mind.
What??!? That’s crazy! Can’t believe someone blasted a bunch of kids. But yes these stories make me question what I hear out in the woods when I’m camping. But I always carry just in case.

Camping is a funny thing, especially after listening to these stories. My wife and son go every year, multiple times to the middle of nowhere Amish farm country to a cabin on 80acres of pa woods, owned by my family, but I always stay home with my dogs during those times.. hell no, I will never go out there! There's coyotes and bears, and apparently psychotic killers/criminals! 😂 75% of the stories, I picture that cabin! Hopefully they don't fall victim, but I've warned them! One day I may be sending their story in..

Camp in normal campgrounds.. Not back woods unless you know how to defend yourself. Great stories. I grew up being more afraid of bears. Maybe because I knew all the weird " woods" people 😆
If you camp with the right people and pack the right gear, the crazies out there should be more afraid of you.

My dad bought a trailer in a campground in Maryland, his best friend and his family had one too. Plus they owned a speedboat and we were right on the Chesapeake so I had a blast when I was younger. But after his friends sold theirs it wasn't the same, I bought a couple friends with me and that was fun. And even when it was me and my dad I was cool. But once he brought his new girlfriend there, I think I went 2 more times and I HATED it! She was a jealous that I came first SMH.
So is it common for people to go camping with no means of protecting themselves? Like even if there isn’t crazy people, a gun or knife can help in a lot of dangerous situations you can find yourself in while camping.
Yes, guns and knives are illegal in many european countries. Only the police have guns. Some criminals have illegal weapons but I don't think they camp. In europe we don't have a gun culture, we don't have them and we don't think about them. We bring a knife if we have to cut the sandwich on the sunday walk basicly. If I were to hike in the USA I would like to bring a PLB, bear spray and a powerful gun or rifle because of the wolves, bears and missing 411 stories.
Jared Yeah, my family never thought about that. My single mom used to bring us little (at the time) kids out camping at state parks and we’d sleep in a tent with G_d knows who around. Kinda scary, when I think about it. 😨

I must say I now fully understand the idea behind the SWISS Army knife after hearing some of these stories and the individuals having only a SWISS army knife for protection thanks after reading this it all makes sense 🤯🙃 hehe have a great day alllll! I know what the knife is a sort of multi-tool for camping etc... I just was like why is that the only thing they had for protection not realizing the legalities behind it until now
I agree. Especially in bear country. Although here in the US the people are far worse than the animals. I feel safer in the woods than in the city.

I still remember the day....it was September 20th 2019. My friend Nathan and I were raiding area 51. Everyone around us was gunned down by the guards but our naruto running made us faster than their ballistics. We made it past the gate and snuck inside the facility. To my horror I saw 6 Mark Zuckerbergs with tentacles brutally fucking one another in some sort of satanic orgy. One of them faces me and Nathan, grabbing us with its tentacles and they raped us and Nathan died the end

Cows ARE dangerous, though, they really can be. They are big animals, and as said, protective of their own.
Probably depends on how domesticated they were, but I don't think cows in the story were approaching the hikers for food

Dude, so the forest in the first story is not far from me and is old and spooky as hell, guessing it’s the same one. Delamere forest in the northwest of England, and being England, it’s old af and there so much weird lore about it. Drove down with friends a few years back at night and found several little teepee huts made of sticks and stuff with piles of bloody tissues, weird

Great bunch of stories to listen to while taking a long shower (this being my first shower since just arriving back home from a vacation in which five of us were housed with one bathroom and all the same plans,) a VERY long shower. The last one definitely pulled a major eyeroll out of me but you gotta include at least one obvious fake per bunch to lighten the mood. I love what you do and how well you do it!

@@rosewhite9077: Yes but when you take away guns you take away the legal right for a person to defend themselves, In every country that they've tried to take away guns like England and Australia people just come up with new and so called "creative" ways to hurt one another like acid attacks, now England is in the process of banning tipped knives (as in a knife with a sharp tip) so you can't even eat a steak there. If people just keep banning things that can be used to hurt one another we won't have anything left to defend ourselves and the governments will have complete control, if good people took the time to arm themselves the bad ones would be out numbered. The bad people and governments want the good people to be unarmed, the government's use it as an excuse to protect the people but the reality is they don't want their authority to ever be challenged so they can get away with whatever they want.
@RE fan: You could build your own weapon, buy parts of a gun piece by piece, but it might not be worth the penalty there. Or you could get pepper spray and a taser or a machete. I'm sorry your government took away your right to defend yourself that's a tough position to be in when you're just trying to defend your family.

I would assume Fallout 4 will be one of them, based on your profile picture- I got into the Fallout series about a year ago & instantly wondered why it took me the time it did to give it a go! Really? Camping is great (usually). I've never had a bad time, like these people. I highly recommend going during a meteor shower! It's fantastic laying out, watching the shooting stars. Although sleeping under the stars is nice, the dew kind of soaks u and your sleeping bag. They have camp grounds all over, so if these stories make you worried about camping, I'd camp at a camp ground. P.s the Northeast isn't all back woods hillbillies like the south. Maine is a fantastic state for camping, or Mass, New Hampshire or Vermont are good too. You should try it at least once.

The cow one was funny. The cows probably thought it was dinner time. They do that around sun down to come in for the night or when its feeding time. They can get each other riled up so u wanna stay out of their way, but unless they are seeing u as a threat, ur fine. They really can be gentle giants. ( I grew up around cows 🐄)

Like a lot of these type of compilations, some of the stories are genuinely creepy and some of them are shockingly mundane. Like, you have to have lived a sheltered life to believe that cops showing up at a camp because somebody was spotted with a pellet gun is "horror". The cops weren't even dicks or anything lol.

That's hilarious! Reminds me of the time when I was a kid, eleven or twelve, spending two weeks at a cottage with my family at their friend's cottage. The friends had a small dog named Tommy who came with me on long walks in the area's surrounding woods. One day we came upon a field and climbed under the fence to explore it. We were half way into the field when we noticed a bunch of cows. Tommy barked at them and I was surprised to see all the cows stop grazing and chewing and turn to stare at us. After a few minutes they started to move towards us in a tight group, and then slowly at more and more speed. I couldn't believe it! I hadn't realized that cows could actually run, you usually see them slowly walking around, or standing, or lying in a field chilling. In the end Tommy and I barely outran these cows, managing to get back under the fence just in time. It's almost funny to see a bunch of angry cows running towards you, until you realize that they are serious about doing you harm.
I also have had this happen haha it's absolutely terrifying 😂😂😂
