- The scariest highball I've ever done - the incredible 29 dots in Valle dell'Orco, first climbed by the legend Bernd Zangerl. Cold weather and a strong wind made the moves feel great, but I numbed out on the upper wall! Not a fun place to be!
That thing would be a mulitpitch in the Frankenjura!
It would have a bolt
Thanks for using my song! I know very little about climbing, but it’s clear that you made this climb look way easier than it is haha. Beautiful work.
Thanks for writing it! I loved listening to it, and from the number of people asking questions on here, it seems like the world loves it too! Good luck with it all ✌
I don't know who was braver - James for climbing or Caro for spotting. I certainly admire the composure and the mastery of the craft but from the armchair of Danish suburbia that's just way too scary! To each their own. Nice send!
i admire your honest reflections on that one. I was scared watching it on the sofa :) looked really cold.
Wow, James. great job!
Nice to see more of you, since you climbed the amazing (Bon) Voyage!
Be safe, keep it up. 💪
Holy cow - that was insane!! 👀🔥💪🏼🙏🏼
That was crazy !! Congrats !
This tune is amazing, where did you find it??
Painful to watch. Good effort for keeping it together
There are UK crags not that tall! Got to be a solo! Haha. Fantastic video though
That song was epic
🙏🏻
I see people with more pads on a 5m problem! 😂 Don't beat yourself up: it's done now, no point feeling shame. You thought it would be ok, and you were too keen to listen to the doubts... which are inevitable on a route this long. Next time it would have been too humid; the time after that, you'd have a tweaky finger. It's not a science. People like, e.g. Honnold try to represent the process of managing risk as completely calculated, but they're kidding themselves. It may seem calculated (or under-calculated) in the rearview mirror, but, you never really know all the variables at play...
Super CONGRATS to Super MASTER Pearson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST WISHES.
Incredible send! Im sure you roped it a million times prior, but that still takes balls of steel. Also takes balls of steel to post a “song” of such random ramblings over a very minimalistic guitar. Steel balls or just crazy, im not sure. 🤣
You’ve got kids bro.
the song..
Which song is this?
That gets a boulder grade!?
🤣 I never normally boulder with a helmet!
La reflexión hubiera resultado más didáctica sin difundir el vídeo de la ascensión
The scariest high ball...in front of your kids. Don't know how to frame it...
Not often that a climbing vloger features a songwriter less TH-cam famous than himself! (“I had to dig” by Brother James - had less than 1K views when I searched it)
Perhaps the send experience amplified some soul searching?
An eloquent ballad trying to reconcile moral relativism with Christianity.
