Good to hear getting returns done are sometimes easy given the issue! I still have a old(very)old Shrade multi tool its a little stiff i need to pull it out & lube it up! Cheers
I love the finish, I've had ZERO rust issues and have carried this multitool more than any other. The only problem i've run into is I had the triangular cutting insert crumble to bits when trying to cut some coat hanger, it's easily replaceable I just need to order a new set to bolt on.
Thanks. I have the MP600 pro scout which has the remgrit saw and scissors in it along with the usual. I removed the knife and replaced with a split ring to make it UK legal but I have ordered a black one of the same tool but in actual bladeless version, so that it comes stock UK Legal for every day carry. I am looking forward to it. Not sure I would want to add it to my belt though since I already have a light, a phone and my keys on my belt already :)
I completely understand your issue... that's why I always wear either carpenter pants with extra pockets or cargo pants, so I can take some bulk off of the belt. ;)
This vid and the reviews on the Strongarm make me want to try Gerber again
+Michael StJohn I've been thinking really hard on a plain edged Strongarm myself as well.

Gerber MP600 lack the scissor ,so I sold it off. I need scissor during my fishing expedition.
the Gerber 600 Pro scout is the best.
How do you like the black finish? Had any issues with tools or the body rusting over time? Any maintenance tips?
