    You've covered all the sites that I recall seeing during my trip to So Utah/No Arizona (decades ago)! Great to know that the wonderous things about the entire area are preserved for all to see/experience. You make me want to go back! Great Job!

    Zion (which I pronounce differently and never know which way is correct!) and Bryce are SO GORGEOUS! Haven’t been there in years, but they are lovely 🧡❤️... I love all the red and orange.

      Totally agree!!!
      And yes, I've dug into the pronunciation a little because my mom also has said that she pronounces it zi-in (like Lion). I'll start by saying that - according to the internet - both can be correct. Before Zion became a national park, it was called Mukuntuweap canyon, and then Mukuntuweap National Monument, and it only became Zion National Park based on biases against Native American place names at the time. Personally, I pronounce it like zi-aan due to phonetics. If you're not as familiar with the park (i.e. not a local), it's easier to hear Zi-aan as a separate word in a sentence. Zi-in National Park flows faster off the tongue, and Zi-aan National Park is pronounced slower and thus the word can be more recognized and remembered by those who you are speaking to about it. 😀

    What I liked about this video is you listed some great places to visit. What i didn't like is you only had very limited footage of those places, and the quality was not very good. I liked that you gave distances to drive from st. George, but didn't like that you didn't show a map of how to get there. I would have rather seen the places, with good quality images, rather than watching you talk to the camera, although in all fairness, you do a decent or better job presenting, kudos for that. Good luck, Regards, Dan

    I want to trailer my street motorcycle to st George and to riding exploring trips for a few days. Are these parks street bike friendly? And I’m in Wyoming and this will be my first trip down, I’d appreciate any info of fun roads and riding trips to do from here. Thank you

    • @MeansToTravel
      @MeansToTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure because I don’t cycle, but my guess is that would be something you could probably find an answer to online in cycling forums or on the national parks websites! Hope you have a lot of fun!

      @@MeansToTravel thank you. I guess what I was really asking is, are most the roads paved. Dirt roads are not impossible to ride a street bike on but not optimal.

      @@MeansToTravel the Shakespearean festival in Cedar City is open during the summer. There is usually a choice of several plays, not all Shakespeare, only 30 minutes from St. George. St. George also has a tour of its historical sites and buildings. There are some tours of famous homes as well such as Brigham Young winter home.
