the 5.7l is way better than the 6.4l yes it isnt as powerful off the bat BUT it has way stronger internals and works great with boost you can put both engines on a turbo setup and the 5.7l would output way more horsepower because it can take way more boost without going boom
Great point about the RT being a great starter muscle car, it will do zero to sixty around 5 sec maybe 4.8 depending on tires etc but you can lay all the power down and be in full control, exciting without scary. Lots of performance especially if your coming from everyday cars.

Another great video. My 1st car was a 73 Challenger, sadly all the smoke was let out of my wiring harness due to a 3 speed windshield wiper motor and a 2 speed switch on the dash. I've always wanted a T/A, I wish they would've used a side exit exhaust like they did in 1970. Keep up the good work.

T/A stands for track attack for dodge as its stated on the option window when your creating your car, the only part that’s not vinyl satin black is the spoiler on the paint, the hood is wrapped and not painted.

Whereas T/A has historically meant a road course car which means "cutting edge HANDLING". And that's one thing that a Mustang, or a Camaro will have a huge edge over on this Mopar on any curvy road. But I also agree that this car would be perfect for a new 1st time muscle car fan. But I would first recommend a course at Bob Bondurant High Performance Driving School, or Skip Barber's school in your neck of the Woods (S.E.USA).
As opposed to R/T, T/A comes with a super track pak that has 0.5 inch front lower suspension, bilstein dampers, limited slip diff. (if manual), so it still carves corner pretty well. What 5.7 T/A really needs is a 4p brbo as stock
Think the T/A is actually the best looking Challenger and think has the nicest interior of any of the Challengers.
