Takk! Thank you, Norwegians🙂. It's not easy to sing in Czech Language. I love that our Cinderella (" Popelka in Czech) is so popular faraway from my home. Your performance made my day🙂
Thanks for uploading. Just curious if you happen to know, why is this song of all songs known in Norway? It's a bit of a surprise a Czech song is known in Norway, and I say "in Norway" because I recently went to their concerts twice in Oslo, and they usually sing popular Christmas songs in Norway and in the English-speaking world.
I can answer that. NRK Tv has a tradition every Christmas Eve to broadcast the film "Three Nuts to Cinderella at 11 o clock. The film has been shown on NRK1 several times between 1975 and 1994, and every Christmas Eve since 1996. Tři oříšky pro Popelku is also a regular Christmas film on TV in around 15 countries, mainly in Europe. At Christmas 2015, the film was shown for the first time in a newly refurbished version in Norwegian cinemas and NRK1.
@@majgirls Oh, so there is a reason. Thanks for explaining. I guess it's not TOO odd; Germany speaking countries play "Dinner for One," and that's a skit entirely in English.

I once saw it on Armenian TV in the middle of the summer. I had to change channel. It belonged to Christmas. Not 40 degrees in sunny Yerevan 😅
