War Without Reason is a level where you infiltrate a huge robot built for war. The protagonist climbs the giant robot, fighting its armada of soldiers before passing the security system. The alarm sound is the sound the huge robot is making in response to you intruding. Then you climb to its brain and defeat it in a deadly laser room battle. Afterwards, you have to escape the robot before it self-destructs.
"THIS PRISON? TO HOLD *ME*?0:42 "A visitor? Hm, indeed, i have slept long enough" Monologues on how he going to crush heaven with his own hands, notices you killed Minos Prime (ORDER), annd wants to see your skills. Proceeds to show you how he can *DESTROY* heaven and dies after 256 tries of battling him and more than 100+ minutes. Then we got Benjamin the girafe with his spear and his war without reason, being a machine build to end the war and yet designed to continue the war, this overly big girafe is your *prey*, you were designed to kill this thing but you were never mass produced since the new peace started and it was only V1 and V2. I promise this makes sense in-game, the war go so bad, people built town on top of the girafes (EARTHMOVERS).
War plays on P-2, like Minos, you need to find the door that leads to the level after P rank the act 2 and killed minos, the start of the level plays "Tenebre Rosso Sangue" and when you pass everything (this level is hard as hell), you reach the Flesh Panopticon, you start the fight til Sisyphus breaks the Panopticon, then he do his dialogue and the start of War plays, the name of the song being War is because when Heaven was caotic, Sisyphus planned a Inssurection against Heaven, but he know that he was going to lose, but still continued the War till Gabriel killed him and the inssurection, Sisyphus just wanted to fight, even when you freedom him and starts to fight, he know that he's going to lose, and he dont regret anything, War is a great song that reflects Sisyphus feelings, if you noticed, you dont feel sadness or desperation, he just want to fight, to dance with you, a dance that leads to DEATH of Sisyphus. Now its time for War Without Reason, first of all, War Without Reason isnt related to War or Sisyphus, War Without Reason plays on 7-4, the final act of Violence, in the third layer of Violence: Violence Against God. When you step outside, you see a big robot named Earthmover (you can see him in the ilustration of the song), he tries to attack you with a big laser that creates a big explosion, but another Earthmover attacks him from distance, you start to climb up Earthmover, and you can notice the musics changes, at some point, you start to see houses on his legs and backs, you destroy the security system and invades his interior, when you can hear the alarms on the ost, then you reach the core and destroys him, then again you hear alarms because he's on a critical state and going to explode, then, one of my favorites part of the ost starts to plays as when you about to escape, some enemys spawn and you need to kill they (the guittar bang), then you escape and Earthmover explodes, first of all, War Without Reason is a reference to human war, that humans start war without a clear motive and every machine is meant to counter the other machine, second, Earthmovers is called like that because he destroy everthing on ground, the massive destruction was so big that Earth got covered by dust and no light of sun could penetrate, leading to a dark era, thats why we have some houses on him, humans moved to Earthmover because Earth was basically dead, and lastly, after the security system, we can found a book that explain basically what i said on second topic with more details, War Without Reason is a great song that combines with Earthmover and machines lore
