As a victim of what happened, I AM SO HAPPY PEOPLE ARE GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE! I was only 9 when it happened to me. I kept going on hoping something would change, but I kept getting pressured into showing my.. Ya know. It happened maybe 40 times. My condolences to others who have been through this.

It feels like the new generations are coming and the old generations disappearing. I used omegle a lot myself back in the days to chat with people but by 2015-2020 I kind of left omegle and did different stuff like actually touching grass. I'm an aspiring entrepreneur, and I met a few experienced entrepreneurs that gave me professional advice. I also met people from other parts of the world that thought me about different traditions and ways of living. I'm a psychology afficionado, and I was almost always choosing the interests "psychology" and "mbti". I had a lot of intellectual conversations on those topics, and got recommended good books!
But yeah, the "m or f" was very annoying.
Honestly, it's for the better. There have been so many people doxxing others, acting inappropriately, and not to mention the amount of creeps there must've been. There's just not enough safety on the platform. It is sad, but it'll do the world a lot better

Social media is causing rapid social decay, mainly because children are being allowed unfettered access to things that are corrupting their minds and thus society. Freedom comes with responsibility, which is why we can't have this stuff. Children can't be expected to be responsible (which is why we make it illegal for them to do certain things), and to many adults are f*cking irresponsible, and social media is just giving them access to the children.
