    is it necessary to add non-linear hinge in all frame while doing time history analysis? i have done all the steps but the analysis of my model doesnt come to an end.. while analyzing the null steps are increasing

    hello sir, thank you for the video . but i dont understand why a value of 3 has been applied on shell as uniform load for DEAD LOAD case. i think the self weight of the shell is already inbuilt in sap2000.

    May i know what is the scale factor value for time history? why 9.81? Is it because the unit for data is g while for SAP2000 is ms-2 ?

      Just open the link and sign up. Then u can download any ground motion.
