- Here, is Joe Morello (the great jazz drummer from The Dave Brubeck Quartet) introduced at the Drum Clinic. Sorry the video tape was old: so you're going to have to turn up the volume to hear his wise words.
He was Carl Palmers greatest inspiration Joe's a great drummer beyond words

Joe will always be missed He left a great legacy as a drummer , teacher , author and a warm hearted geneous funny human being , I am so glad that we have this and more footage of the legend .

His left hand alone is more talented than most drummers.
He comes with cool little jokes and ad libs like the Pretty Purdie.. cool skill of banter to directly open up the audience. I love the old generations for those skills.
