Backpacking & Fishing in Olallie Lake Scenic Area in Oregon

We had an incredible time exploring the Olallie Lake Scenic area in Oregon in the fall! What an amazing adventure! Dave and I were at this exact location 8 years ago to the day and I’ve been wanting to back ever since! However, the landscape has changed extensively… huge fires swept through the area, burning down the majority of the forest!
That said, this video really illustrates how death brings new life. Despite the burnt forest, bright colored meadows and beautiful flowers are emerging!
