What’s up. The first complaint with the fan speed on the lowest setting. I noticed you have the recirculating button on. Click it to turn it off and that should lower the fan speed a little more
Raul Rey I was thinking along similar lines - I really get annoyed that cars "honk" when they lock because when I'm backing out of a spot or driving in a parking lot I constantly hear that noise and slam on my breaks thinking that someone is honking at me!! Lol. Instant panic that I'm about to hit someone. But I'm really happy at the level of detail you provided. Problem with other reviews is that they talk about stuff that has nothing to do with the everyday experience of being in the car.
Nothing wrong with parking far away from other cars. It's the assholes who purposely take up two spots to prevent anyone from parking in a spot next to their car. They don't own the damn parking lot. POS c class.
Or...the assholes that park real close to your car when you've already parked way far in the parking lot where there are literally no cars. Just to be assholes.
hortn123 they are assholes too. Just to be clear, the idiot c class driver was parked with lots of cars around it. Even if he/she took up two spots far away from everyone, it would not have been that bad.
You realize that "Lo" on the display means lowest possible temp and not lowest fan speed, right? In fact, "Lo" setting is telling the climate control that you want the A/C on MAX. Try setting the temp at ambient and turning the fan speed down to the lowest setting and see if it reduces.
The trunk release button was done for safety. Due to it's placement on the door, you may reach for something touch it and open the car trunk while driving. So they gave it a 3 seconds delay with a press and hold function.
For the airflow, just put it on feet and vents and it should blow softer. As for the delay when watching videos, its like that in my older accord, but since you have an iPhone just use the ipod link, not apple carplay. And as for the screen, that what happens, dust is a part of life lol.
Using the “auto” function and selecting the desired temperature could help. I’m annoyed when people don’t use their automatic air function. You paid for the feature, use it. Lol
"Lo" doesn't refer to the fan speed, but the thermostat temperature. So he's setting it to the coldest temperature, and therefore fastest fan speed, inside the car.
It must be a preference thing. I used to own a car that I couldn't disable the honk when I locked the door. I used to feel like I was really disturbing my neighbors with this. In fact, there was one car on our block where every time the guy came home, he had the loudest horn attached to his remote lock. I used to have to peak out the window each time because it sounded like someone was honking their horn to get my attention. So I personally love the beep technology and also the option to disable any sound because the blinking lights and click of the locks is perfect for me. But I do understand why you like what you like.
the lag is a typical bluetooth problem that affects most if not all cars as BT is too slow to keep up with the video but its never noticable with just audio...
pdake - I agree about the video to audio lag. also, as far as the lock. My 2.0L auto locks when I walk away with keys in my pocket. It’s a cool feature.
Tip: hold the key fob up to your face and you’ll get more distance. The fluid in your head acts as an antenna. Can’t you change the beep volume in settings? On Lexus you can
We design the trunk opener like that for your safety. In case you accidentally press on it wont open right away. Specially when the car is moving... Thanks.
Thank God it only beeps when you lock it. I live on an apartment, and I want to slash the tires on some people's cars because it honks the horn when they remote lock it. It gets even worse when you have the OCD guy who doesn't trust it so he has to lock it three times. If automakers want to provide feedback when a car is remotely locked, they should do it with an LED on the fob, not honking the horn. Otherwise, if it's THAT important to you, lock it while you're within close range. Every one in a 1/2 mile range doesn't want to hear your horn.
I 100% agree on some of the things you said because i also don’t like how you have to hold the trunk button down to open it, the infotainment screen collects a lot of finger prints, and it doesn’t always recognize my phone when I plug for the apple CarPlay and it drives me nuts.
On your fan speed issue, i notice that you have it set on recirculate, try switching to fresh air instead, it may help slow down air speed. At the very least, it's better than having it set to breathing the same stale air.
Jess Barnett I can order heated steering wheel as an option on the Touring. Mazdas have come a long way. Their designs are really cool but they need more powerful engines.
If a brand has a luxury division, they will reserve higher features for their luxury brand. For Honda, that's Acura. If the accord has everything then there is no point for people to buy Acura. And Honda wants to move Acuras as they have higher profit margins.
For the first point, you have high airflow on the lowest setting, this because you don’t have a rear vent or it is locked the fan designed to deliver the air to back seats, if you have a back vent you will not notice the high flow.
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...
You spend THAT much time in your car, when you're not driving, watching videos? Because it's scary thinking about you watching your phone while driving down the road...
A Man lol. I'm not watching while driving. I spend my breaks and lunches in my car to get some alone time lol. At least 2 hours a day. So I enjoy the car speakers when watching media. Should have made that more clear. Thanks for watching!
You mentioned you had a Chevy Cruze. At the moment I own a Cruze, but I am very interested in purchasing the accord. Just would like more info and/thoughts of your transition from the Cruze to the Accord...eg ride handling, comfortability (seating too low) or just fine. Any issues with vehicle itself?....transmission, safety features too sensitive?....any info would much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm thinking of buying a 1.5 Accord instead of the 2.0 and things I don't like its missing are remote start, SiriusXM radio, blind spot monitoring, sunroof, and heated seats.
You can program your car to lock as soon as you shut all the doors and walk away. I just got the 2018 Honda Accord about a week ago and still figuring some things out. Anyways I figured out you can auto lock car when you walk like 10 ft away so only 4 problems. Also yes I have to agree with the air blasting on level 1 is kinda strong.
the video thing intrigues me. Have you tried downloading videos to your device and playing them instead of streaming ? The buffering thing is the culprit. So if you just load up your device with videos you may fix your problem
I too own a Chevy Cruze LTZ (2015) fully loaded and am seriously considering trading it in after the winter for a 2018/19 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 in this silver color. The Cruze has been the worst car I've owned and because of it, I'll likely never buy another GM product. I never really ever saw myself buying a Honda, but after the issues with my Cruze, I really need a car that's dependable, holds it value, and looks good with nice tech and safety features.
1) While in neutral, and stopped, you cannot put the car in drive (on the push-button-transmission models). 2) The painted door sills will get scuffed and scratched. No matter how hard you pay attention when getting in and out, sooner or later your shoe will rub off some paint. 3) The optional cargo net is a joke. It gets placed in the center of the trunk, and is only 2/3 usable, and it blocks the deeper half of the trunk. It is cumbersome to place items in the net, and does not hold much. 4) If the car is running, then there is no convenient way to turn off all of the outside lights. The only way to do so, is for the car to be off, and the parking brake on (and who sets parking brake when not on a steep hill --- or even then). Then start the car (parking brake already on), and you will have no lights lit. But if the car is already running, then you have to set the parking brake, turn off the car, and then turn on the car. Why might you want no lights lit? If it is cold, and you want to stay warm while waiting in a busy parking lot, you do not want cars stopping and waiting for you to pull out (if they see lights on, then they are more likely to wait). You don't need the drama. 5a) The stereo is so-so. It is not up to par with the rest of the car. It emphasizes certain mid-range frequencies, as if to show them off (never good for a stereo to make itself part of the performance -- it should only reveal the performance). So in almost every song, if you have the volume up, then at some part of each song, it will yell the music at you (that is, it will yell that mid-range frequency at you). It is annoying. 5b) The stereo will play digital files stored on a flash drive, when you plug that flash drive into the USB port. Or will it? The stereo is not compatible with some flash drives (which ones? who knows?). Honda has no list of flash drives that do not work, no list of flash drives that do work, and no list of flash drives they have or have not tested. They have nothing. But some drives will not work. 5c) The manual reads that it will play .mp3 files, .wma files, and .aac files. All of those formats are lossy (they delete over half of the data that makes up the sounds, in order to save storage space, which was meaningful when storage space was expensive -- but not any longer). This means a noticeable loss in fidelity (it is like watching a movie with half of the frames missing -- you might not notice, until you flip a switch to see 100% of the frames). 5d) The stereo will play lossless digital files (like .wav and .flac files), yet the manual makes no mention of this. 5e) When pressing the track advance button, it takes 3 seconds for the stereo to start playing the next song (if the next song is in the same folder), and it takes 5 seconds to start playing the next song (if the next song is in a different folder). 5f) There is no button to skip to the next folder. You either have to go through menus (a royal pain and dangerous to do while driving), or you have to keep pressing the track advance button, and hope you get to your song before you arrive at your destination. 5g) So you can have all of your favorite songs on a flash drive, and the stereo makes it a chore for you to navigate your library. 6a) The backup camera has no linear view. You have a choice of wide angle, very wide angle, and close-up. I would like to have a natural, linear view (a non distorted view). 6b) In bad weather, for example, the camera might be blocked or blurry. So you might want to open your door, look back, and slowly and carefully inch your way into your spot. No sale (with the push-button-transmissions). As soon as you open the door, the car shifts into park, and it will refuse to shift into reverse while the door is open. 7) The remote starter (optional for the 1.5 liter Accord) shuts off after 10 minutes. There is no way to change the default run time. You can extend it for an additional 10 minutes, but it is yet more buttons to fiddle with. My preference would be 15 minutes. 8) The auto high beams feature is enabled by default, and the car's sensors do not always work fast enough to prevent you from briefly blinding or annoying other drivers (and this explains why we are all hit by other people's high beams once in a while -- even when they did not turn on their high beams). There is a way to disable it, but 99.99% of Accord owners will not know about it, and many owners probably do not even realize that they are hitting other drivers with their high beams. The procedure to turn off the auto high beams is buried in the manual, and it takes 40 seconds to complete the process. The above is by no means an attempt to dissuade anyone from buying an Accord Sport. It is a great car. But no car, at any price, is perfect. The above are its shortfalls.
I agree with you on every point. I have a 2.0t sport. air flow is a little higher than other cars. But I owned a 2013 Honda Accord and the air flow was high as well I think it’s a Honda thing lol. I keep the to my leg and to the windshield. By doing that it won’t bother you or the person sets next to you. The second thing I hate the fact holding the trunk button for 2-3 seconds. It’s annoying lol. And yes the screen is a dust magnet. I wipe it with my hand hahah. The remote beeping thing Honda been doing it since 2013. I had a 2009 accord and when locking it it beep and it sound manly lol. But over the 2018 is a nice car. I had no problems beside little bit of rattling sound by the driver seat belt
pdakmiller I don’t notice it as much in the 2018. I use to have the 2013 and trust me it was worse hahah. But good luck and great choice man. I always park it far away as well but got couple scratches on mine but not noticeable hahha
I have an old 2008 Hyundai Azera. I like the beep. It's meant to be a more "premium" sound vs the typical toy-like "honk". However, I agree that it doesn't serve the purpose of hearing that confirmation which can be annoying.
Great video, i have been thinking about adding a 2nd car to my channel and using it as my daily; narrowed it down to the Accord and the Camery; of course, LOL. I enjoyed hearing an owner's point of view and what to look out for. I noticed that people tend not to like these types of videos; when I did the 5 things I hate about my corvette, I got killed in the comments, LOL...I recently made another 5 things that I hate video with a twist. Love the look of your car and I am about to head over to your video that speaks to the 5 things you love; keep up the great work and enjoy your beautiful ride.
Have you had any issues with water pooling between the hood and windshield on the passenger side? I feel like they missed adding a drain to that section.
I absolutely love my accord sport!! Nothing bad to say about except the apply car play stopped working but that could be my wire or phone. Besides that i love the car
Those complaints are not bad at all dude, they are realistic. The beep lock sound would annoy me personally because I am use to the lights and the honking when locked.
None of the 2018 Accords have an aux jack. Your lag is coming from the Bluetooth connection when you could just plug it into the USB connection. The rest of your complaints are pretty petty: really, you can't stand the dust that generates from getting in and out of your car constantly? It's almost as if the other thing on the side of the driver's door is the OUTSIDE.
Is the 10 gen like the 9th gen? I only have my iPhone set up for phone calls as anything else is a complete nightmare. 9th gen they hid the aux behind a fake radio button next to 6th channel button.
Hey guys, I just want to let you know that Jesus loves you so much that he died for you. He didn't want Heaven without you so he gave up his life on the cross and rose again. When he did that, he justified us with God, and he paid the full price of our sins, we just need to accept the gift he has given us. To accept this gift, you need to confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he rose again and you will be saved. Romans 10:9-11 says, "9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”" . Jesus is coming back, not to be happy with everyone, but rather he is coming to get his bride, the people of Christ. Jesus will not be coming back in the desert or in secret chambers, HE will be coming back on the CLOUDS! Be ready people, turn to him and repent of your sins. JESUS CHRIST IS KING of Kings, and LORD of Lords!! Seek holiness and not the things of the flesh. Sports are not more important than Jesus Christ, gifts are not more important than Jesus Christ, NOTHING is more important than Jesus Christ. I'm telling you, he is coming back soon, God bless you all!
Next time, point the key fob to the side of your head and hit the lock button. You might be shocked to see it work from distances you normally wouldn't expect it to. I believe the touring actually comes with auto lock feature, where it locks the car automatically when it senses the key fob moving a certain distance away from the car. Would be perfect in your situation, giving you piece of mind that your car will always be locked.
To fix the problem with the dust buy a plastic screen protector.. ( Not the glass screen protector) is really cheap like $5 to $14 you can get one in Amazon... I have the same car but not the sport version i love this car so much...
yeah it is dumb.. but , from what i've observed, these luxury car owners would want to park their car in that order so that no one can park so close to their cars to avoid dents or something LMAO
I wish it had heated seats. Voice command options... When the car is running and I'm outside the car and I try to click that button on the keychain to pop the trunk open it doesn't open. I have to physically go back to push the button inside the car. Wish the car had more pick up but I got the 1.5t sport so that's probably why
My 2018 accord sport does not have the walk a way.. I am so upset that I have to dig in my purse to retrieve key fob to unlock driver door. I have owned many Honda’s and as long as the fob is on my person or in my purse I could walk up and open driver side door. I have NOT seen anyone post about this. I thought it was broke but dealer telling me that’s only part of the walk a way which I don’t have displayed on the screen. Who makes a car that you cannot get into without using the key fob. I am truly upset and aggravated about not having that feature. So much so, I prolly would have opted for other than sport model. Just Crazy!!!! 😢😢😢
Especially the dislike on dust on infotainment was so petty...you can't entirely prevent dust from coming inside your car. Your car mostly lives in an outside environment lol.
Gisele Dormeus true. It was just hard for me to come up with 5 things I hate that you might not of heard of in another video like this. Not to much to hate about this car. I love it!
dude cmon man!!air flow complaint?..........turn it off then. lemme hear you complain when its 95 outWatching movies in car?.................cmon man. Your a disaster waiting to happenDusty screen?...................cmon man......clean the effin thing......it takes a secondtrade it in dude...........why you buy it?
I always thought the sport trill should have always be based on an EX even from the last gen. Its like do i want features and end up with a car that looks like a base model or do i want a car that looks like the top model but with the features of the base model
you can hold your emergency horn button on the fob to get the car to beep louder, then hit it again so it doesn't continue. My complaint is the seats in the LX. Test drive I didn't notice.. but 20 minutes or more and my leg starts getting numb, then foot, then pain in my butt and back. Terrible. ruins the car for me. awful.
I get that same problem too. Voice, speaker, to screen lag. Dumb...lol. My 2010 Civic Si Sedan has premium speakers and mirror heat. I don’t understand why they made the Sport 1.5 downgraded with shitty speaker sounds. In my opinion.
How do you watch videos on the screen? I connect my iPhone for CarPlay but see no options to watch TH-cam or any apps that can stream video to the screen?
oh.. didn't know that. :( As for AC, my wife complains also. To remedy this problem, I use Face/Floor combination to weaken the air or just use either windshield or floor only once temp reaches a comfortable level.
What’s up. The first complaint with the fan speed on the lowest setting. I noticed you have the recirculating button on. Click it to turn it off and that should lower the fan speed a little more
Also I like the quiet alarm beep. Doesn't disturb my neighbors when I get home late at night.
Raul Rey just bought a brand new accord today and it was one of my favorite things
In older Hondas, you can enable a honk when the doors lock. It might also be possible on this model if he looks through the car settings.
The weak beep is actually a good thing because it won't disturb your neighbors at night.
4:13 typical Benz driver, always parking like they own the parking lot
xxFallenKnight lol yep
I cannot hate someone for not wanting to park away from everyone. It does not bother me as a car fanatic.
Nothing wrong with parking far away from other cars. It's the assholes who purposely take up two spots to prevent anyone from parking in a spot next to their car. They don't own the damn parking lot. POS c class.

Come on, it's the monthly payment plan you hate the most.
Lok Tom lol 😂 that’s most likely true
Lok Tom def true!!
Yea fuckin honda man 😂
True lol
You realize that "Lo" on the display means lowest possible temp and not lowest fan speed, right? In fact, "Lo" setting is telling the climate control that you want the A/C on MAX. Try setting the temp at ambient and turning the fan speed down to the lowest setting and see if it reduces.
MegaTechpc LMAO exactly
He is on the lowest speed, you see the speed above the wheel he’s turning. I have the same car and I agree that the fans blow too much.
MegaTechpc I’m glad someone said it
I have the same exact car and the levels are perfect.
The trunk release button was done for safety. Due to it's placement on the door, you may reach for something touch it and open the car trunk while driving.
So they gave it a 3 seconds delay with a press and hold function.
I have a honda civic, and I always hit the gas cap/trunk button since its in the floor
My Camry trunk will never open while driving unless I put into parking.
For the airflow, just put it on feet and vents and it should blow softer. As for the delay when watching videos, its like that in my older accord, but since you have an iPhone just use the ipod link, not apple carplay. And as for the screen, that what happens, dust is a part of life lol.
Also, in the video you had recirculation on. turning off recirculation will make the fans blow softer.

To be honest your only legitimate complain is the lag in audio for videos. Every thing else is crap
Orlando Palmer lol
the lag is a typical bluetooth problem that affects most if not all cars as BT is too slow to keep up with the video but its never noticable with just audio...
pdake - I agree about the video to audio lag. also, as far as the lock. My 2.0L auto locks when I walk away with keys in my pocket. It’s a cool feature.

Can’t you change the beep volume in settings? On Lexus you can
Supersonic Hamster lol nice😅😅
Your definitely right about the fan, it blow so fast. And when I have it set on 75 degrees it blows super frickin hot still
The fan is strong because only the top vents are open, choose the mode that has both top and bottom vents open and airflow should be much softer.
We design the trunk opener like that for your safety. In case you accidentally press on it wont open right away. Specially when the car is moving... Thanks.
For the dust on the screen I keep a folded microfiber rag in my glove box. Works perfect
Thank God it only beeps when you lock it. I live on an apartment, and I want to slash the tires on some people's cars because it honks the horn when they remote lock it. It gets even worse when you have the OCD guy who doesn't trust it so he has to lock it three times.

Otherwise, if it's THAT important to you, lock it while you're within close range. Every one in a 1/2 mile range doesn't want to hear your horn.
Good explanation. i look to see mine light up if im not near it at all
thevoxdeus I love the honking especially when I’m inside so I can hear it lock but I live in the country sooo
Damn I guess you never lived to a Mexican then. They purposely set off their car alarms on purpose so people will notice their cars
@@wutdafeezi dude you just walked inside a dark room all by yourself 😂 what was the point of saying that
I 100% agree on some of the things you said because i also don’t like how you have to hold the trunk button down to open it, the infotainment screen collects a lot of finger prints, and it doesn’t always recognize my phone when I plug for the apple CarPlay and it drives me nuts.
On your fan speed issue, i notice that you have it set on recirculate, try switching to fresh air instead, it may help slow down air speed. At the very least, it's better than having it set to breathing the same stale air.
I think I agree with that. I usually have it on recirculate when it’s hot because it helps the engine run more efficiently
Watching movies and TH-cam instead of focus on driving. Ok 🤨
wutdafeezi
Probably take hour long breaks at work in their car like me lol
Thank you for those tips I am considering this car as well
I am disappointed the $35k Touring 2.0T does not come with a 360 degree camera. Heated steering wheel should be standard also.
Mike N yes for sure
Mike N my Mazda 3 has heated steering wheel and it's in another class.
And Honda wants to move Acuras as they have higher profit margins.
heated steering wheels are overrated
I know for the climate I have one too but put it to feet and vent that way is perfect.
I am a 2016 Honda Civic touring owner and how I wish I waited for this accord. It is so much better than my car and I wish I had ventilated seats
For the first point, you have high airflow on the lowest setting, this because you don’t have a rear vent or it is locked the fan designed to deliver the air to back seats, if you have a back vent you will not notice the high flow.
"Lo" means you want to hang meat in your Accord and you do not want it to spoil. :-)
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). #1 airflow; push air distribution button to face and floor, and air volume to face will reduce.
You spend THAT much time in your car, when you're not driving, watching videos? Because it's scary thinking about you watching your phone while driving down the road...
A Man if you use Android auto or Apple carplay you won't have that audio delay.
A Man lol. I'm not watching while driving. I spend my breaks and lunches in my car to get some alone time lol. At least 2 hours a day. So I enjoy the car speakers when watching media. Should have made that more clear. Thanks for watching!
2 hour lunches? SWEET
Amen!!
Cmon, don’t be shy😏 if you don’t like it just gift it to me😊 I been wanting one since 2018
If only all reviews were like this. Nit picky is good. Onto the next video.
at least the exterior is gorgeous.
You mentioned you had a Chevy Cruze. At the moment I own a Cruze, but I am very interested in purchasing the accord. Just would like more info and/thoughts of your transition from the Cruze to the Accord...eg ride handling, comfortability (seating too low) or just fine. Mikey Mike get the accord. The Cruze is 💩
Make the purchase. No issues at all and in my opinion the best value/deal for a car out there.
u can set it to walk away lock on the settings so when you walk away it looks itslef
Literally has solutions for mainly all of it!
How is the road noise? Is it quiet on the freeway?
Jeffrey McMahon road noise for me is great!
Thank you. I love that car. Good to hear it's quiet.
I'm thinking of buying a 1.5 Accord instead of the 2.0 and things I don't like its missing are remote start, SiriusXM radio, blind spot monitoring, sunroof, and heated seats.
Idk for some reason you need to get a new family, I think it’s them not the car.. 🤔 or maybe just new kids who knows 👍
Same here
What bothers me the most on the Sport 1.5T is the lack of a physical trunk release button on the trunk itself.
Ro0ster only the EX models and up have it.
Ro0ster yes. I remembered after making the video about that lol
I drive one. I hate that it doesn't have a puddle light!!! Hopefully they'll update it and add turn signal in the mirrors.
I have the 2018 EXL loving it so far cant complain really ,
1) While in neutral, and stopped, you cannot put the car in drive (on the push-button-transmission models).
Did I hear you say that you're in your car all the time and watching movies or TH-cam? Not while you're driving I hope.
2016 Accord will blow air downward before it settles on your airflow setting thus preventing initial strong airflow on your face.
Annas Ahmad yeah everyone has been telling me that about the air flow. Totally doing that now!!
pdakmiller I don’t notice it as much in the 2018. I use to have the 2013 and trust me it was worse hahah. But good luck and great choice man. I always park it far away as well but got couple scratches on mine but not noticeable hahha
how is the sound system? does it have good bass?
I've never seen any video touch on this yet
James Anderson nope
I absolutely love my accord sport!! Nothing bad to say about except the apply car play stopped working but that could be my wire or phone. Besides that i love the car
Those complaints are not bad at all dude, they are realistic. The beep lock sound would annoy me personally because I am use to the lights and the honking when locked.
None of the 2018 Accords have an aux jack. Your lag is coming from the Bluetooth connection when you could just plug it into the USB connection. The rest of your complaints are pretty petty: really, you can't stand the dust that generates from getting in and out of your car constantly? It's almost as if the other thing on the side of the driver's door is the OUTSIDE.
seriously no aux?
Dust would bother me
Is the 10 gen like the 9th gen? I only have my iPhone set up for phone calls as anything else is a complete nightmare. 9th gen they hid the aux behind a fake radio button next to 6th channel button.
Check if your cabin air filter is missing it could be the reason for the dust and air speed
You can’t be a dust freak and have that mess around the interior
Lo is the lowest temperature setting. If you increase it to 70 or 72 and put it at the lowest fan setting, it's not bad. Not sure if that helps!
Wait, "Lo" or "Low" usually, for most car brands, means LOWEST TEMPERATURE SETTING, not lowest level of airflow....? Is it different for Hondas?
He's referring to the fan speed
I could see the dust being a bother for me. I will probably wire that down multiple times a day. I'm OCD like that
I agree with you on 2 of 3 the Accord has auto lock 5 seconds after you exit the car.
How come you don't do like the Mercedes in front an take 2 spot
I love the color... whats the actual name of this color??
Does the 2018 allow all of the windows to lower to cool car? My 2010 had that option.
Mopar Man-Farria yes when you hit the unlock button twice.
Mopar Man-Farria yes.
Yes all windows and sunroof opens too
what’s your window tint ?
20
Lol I agree with you on the dusty screen.
Yeeesss i agree with the ac low setting
The sound system lack of bass.
DAMON HALL I totally agree, the sound system sucks in this car
Man it’s trash, I like my car but sound system is trash asf 😫
Buy some subs
Accord is great, peppy, comfort, good gas, but yes the stereo is one of the worst on the market.
The touring has the ten speakers
Am I the only one who noticed the white Mercedes parked in the background is directly over the line? It urges me
DarudeOwnageZ typical Benz driver
yeah it is dumb.. but , from what i've observed, these luxury car owners would want to park their car in that order so that no one can park so close to their cars to avoid dents or something LMAO
With the trunk botton that’s good because you don’t want to be driving and barely touch it and it open the truck
I wish it had heated seats. Voice command options... When the car is running and I'm outside the car and I try to click that button on the keychain to pop the trunk open it doesn't open. I have to physically go back to push the button inside the car. Wish the car had more pick up but I got the 1.5t sport so that's probably why
Is it normal for the car to sound that loud? Is that the engine?
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the fact that you can’t use maps on the screen
I agree about the AC, but I just set it to blow on both face and feet, then it's fine for me.
D. Greg that has helped for sure
I'm getting this car!
The accord has a setting that when you walk away more than 10 feet from the car with your key fob, it’ll automatically lock the car.
What level of tint is on your car?
Samantha Royer 20%
Especially the dislike on dust on infotainment was so petty...you can't entirely prevent dust from coming inside your car. Your car mostly lives in an outside environment lol.
Gisele Dormeus true. It was just hard for me to come up with 5 things I hate that you might not of heard of in another video like this. Not to much to hate about this car. I love it!
The key fob and remote start range is a valid complaint. It’s pathetic compared to other brands. Toyota also has pathetic range.
That just means this is an excellent car to buy. He’s saying his complaints are petty.
Auto lock brother believe me it works.... set it and forget it!
Edgar Rodriguez this is not an option on my car unfortunately 😭
pdakmiller really? I have a 2015 accord ex and it has auto lock... u should check the settings
i have checked...and its not there....wish it was though
i have a 1.5 sport and it auto locks for me
FPVEngineering auto lock is not on sport 1.5. It is on the 2.0. It's when you walk away from the car and it locks automatically.
What about the trunk release! It's either from inside of your car or from your remote key. No botton on the trunk itself.
Yeah they have a button on the trunk too who opens right up I have one like that too I never use the one on the door
Doesn't it honk if you press the lock button twice?
dude cmon man!!air flow complaint?..........turn it off then. lemme hear you complain when its 95 outWatching movies in car?.................cmon man. Your a disaster waiting to happenDusty screen?...................cmon man......clean the effin thing......it takes a secondtrade it in dude...........why you buy it?
What’s the name of the color?
i wish honda would have made both the 1.5 and 2.0t on the ex platform.. id prefer the 1.5 if it had the same options as the 2.0 sport..
I always thought the sport trill should have always be based on an EX even from the last gen.
Its like do i want features and end up with a car that looks like a base model or do i want a car that looks like the top model but with the features of the base model
Why did you have to come up with 5 things, because others have done this as well?
Stephen Dove why did you watch the video
I'm gonna wait until Honda does a facelift on this.
you can hold your emergency horn button on the fob to get the car to beep louder, then hit it again so it doesn't continue.
In my opinion.
the first thing isn't an issue ...you can turn the temp down...
How do you watch videos on the screen? I connect my iPhone for CarPlay but see no options to watch TH-cam or any apps that can stream video to the screen?
Cogito Ergo Zoom you can't. I put my phone in a holster
Search for "Walk Away Auto Lock" feature in your manual. Home>Settings>Vehicle>Door/Window Setup>Walk Away Auto Lock>Set to On
T K yeah. It's not an option for my car 😭
T K it looks like it only the ex and above lol
It is not on the sport 1.5. It is only in the sport 2.0.
oh.. didn't know that. :( As for AC, my wife complains also. To remedy this problem, I use Face/Floor combination to weaken the air or just use either windshield or floor only once temp reaches a comfortable level.
I have the same car and my low tire pressure light came on I'm going to re calibrate tomorrow and see what happens
johnstonejame I had the same thing happen to me. They said if it goes 3 above or 3 Below the standard air pressure the light comes on.
I did the calibration and it went away made sure there all at 34 psi
My sister has the exact same car, but she has a 2.0 T, and when she walks a way the car will lock by its self
Lo means the coldest setting. turn it to the right to get it warmer....
To fix the voice lag, connect the iPhone via USB instead of Bluetooth, the video and audio will be synched, it will also charge your phone.
DM723 it is connected by USB. But thanks for the tip
the lock / unlock beep is adjustable thru the menu in the settings of your radio
