Not sure how far ahead you record, but the reason why the light oil unloads so quick but loads slower is because of the fun liquide dynamics that are programmed in Factorio if you have a pump directly connected to a tank it is almost instand (your unload) if it has to be squized trought a pipe first (loading) then its limited by the amount that fits in a pipe, so to make it quick you can best swap the full length pipe to the other side of the tank on loading and connect the pumps directly to the tanks
Yes, because a pump can pump a lot more than 100 per second, but a pipe segment can only hold 100. Especially on unloading, because as the storage fills it gets even slower. If the storage is 80% full, the pipe only has 20 space to pump into, and then you need to wait for the pipe to balance with the tanks.
Nathan, build more Spidertrons! :) Then build remote and you can set one (or more) spidertrons to follow, i am plaing with 6 Spidertrons that are just following me, everyone has 50 construction bots. Then you can cary so much more materials, saves a lot of time. :)
Wouldnt it be better to have module for lets say 1 belt of each science ? Something like inputs only raw resources, and then do whole smelting and crafting in module itself up to 1belt/s of single science pack. Would save a lot of train trafic, and you wont need balancing smelting modules with consumption after adding something new.
"better" is subjective. There's a 10k SPM pure vanilla base running at 60 UPS that was done with 8x all science modules fully optimized for ~1250 SPM from raw resources
i foyu had logistic bot station all over.. you shouldn't have to go back in the old hub to get the materials.. they would go fin you with the materials you missing.. more convinient

Can't wait to see your blackbox design
1:00 If you want to get rid of (small) ore patches:
Either do
- Beacons
or
- Console
Great video 😀
Nice! 💎
Nice
thank you
How do you control migration of biters and nests? You kill them but they will eventually come, I don't see any walls
you could start a new series but with already making it modular and tidy, no spaguetti ahhaaha
