I have to say Passion definitely delved deep into a artistic swim with the Holy Spirit for the creation of this heart moving, melodic worship song!!! [Side note] Cheers to your AMAZING playing mate!
Ha! The pickups aren’t quite singlecoils and aren’t quite HBs. I play it but we’d have to tweak a third patch to do a video with it so I opt for speed :)
Curious to know how the custom Jennings compares to the Suhr Alt T? I’ve been looking to do a custom navigators really similar to this with the Lambertones Cremas.
Did you improvise the solo this time? it doesn't like the track. I really liked all the lead in the last 1:30 of the song but it didn't sound like the OG
Yup. As the description says, each time through a section the parts were played a bit different. So we just generalized em. I learned the song in about 20 mins right before we shot this so I didn’t spend a ton of time on the solo since it was kinda all over the place :)
@@bmitchellmusic Cool. I really like the version here, though I personally would have interpolated a couple of the more recognizable licks from the album version. It is nice to see a worship song where the solo feels like a real solo and is given more than like 2 bars.
It's the same amp model as the Axe-FX III, so the base tone is very similar. But the AX8 is falling behind Axe-FX III pretty quickly. The cabs, drives, and reverbs in Axe-FX III have all been updated, and they sound better (the amp models sound better, too). Overall I'd say that Axe-FX III version is punchier, more present, and more 'real' sounding/feeling.
Ah, but notifications only work when there's an internet connection! And for some reason, my iPod doesn't like pushing notifs to me. Oh well, I'm just making excuses now 😅
Broooo the major scale walk up @ 4:53 was so clean😭🔥

Dang I’ve lost. I’m second
So the last shall be first, and the first last :)
@@worshiptutorials Then what about those that are in between?
In your honest opinion, how close is the AX8 tone to this one on the Axe-FX III? Remember, Jesus is watching. :p
Wes
I mean it’s close. But you’re limited by DSP 🤷🏻♂️
@@bmitchellmusic I'd be happy with getting to 90% of this tone. Thanks, broseph!
