To date, this was the best conference I have ever gone to. I had the worst college semester right before this. My dad passed away when we were reconciling with each other. I felt so torn apart and hurt and failed two college classes. I was barely hanging on trying to work for my wages and stay strong for my family. So I bought a ticket two weeks after he was buried, needing to get away with my friends. God knew I needed this and I felt so changed and encouraged being surrounded by my friends and so many Christians. I have never seen so many in one place within my age bracket to meet and grow spiritually. It was the kick and motivation I needed to help start my year I grew closer amd more open with my friends with my burden and pain and most of all felt God's comfort and guiding hand into the right direction to keep moving and rest in Him. It's still a tough year but I have blessed assurance that Jesus is mine and I am His.
My condolences, I hope you're having a good time now and everything is working out. God is working something for you. I don't know you but I truly feel like you're about to have a huge breakthrough if you haven't already. God bless you

I’ve been suffering from sever anxiety and having panic attacks every time I turn around. Tonight at church I was having an attack and our band started singing this song and I literally felt this calm come over me.
I don't even know whether to stand with my hands raised, or fall to my face listening to this song, God is so good. It just gives me joy because I know this song will not even compare to worship in Heaven.

I was in a dark place in my life. I had thought to myself over and over again that I felt like I was wrestling with God. I couldn't settle down until God gave me what I wanted, just like Jacob in Genesis 32. I just wanted to feel happy, to feel hopeful, and to belong somewhere; I didn't talk to anyone about this, as I was in and out of suicidal thoughts. So I came into church one morning, and they did prayer before the service as usual. During this prayer time, I was convicted so hard by the Spirit and my brokenness was just too much to bear; I tried to resist but couldn't, and broke down crying. I was so fed up fighting and feeling like God was never going to shine light on what I was going through. Well, wouldn't you know it - one of the pastors entered the room that morning and said almost instantly as he entered, God 'downloaded' a prayer into his mind. God specifically told him to pray for someone who was going through their own version of Genesis 32. Talk about gobsmacking and life-changing. He came over to me and said, "I think you are the one that needs to hear this." He told me just like with Jacob that day would break eventually; the wrestling would end and the sun would shine. It was one of those moments where God revealed how intimately He knew me. He knew my soul, He knew the cries, He knew the exact story from the Bible that related with me. One of the most intimate and profound experiences I've ever had with Christ. Long-term it was the tipping point that took me from being a half-hearted Christian to fully believing and desiring relationship with God.

This song just moved me so much, and as I was reading comments I saw yours so I thought "why not?" Anyway - to answer your question, this is now 5 or 6 years since then. God was true to the word He shared that day. I got more prayer, some support from those around me, and I have never entered that same realm of darkness I was in before. No suicidal thoughts, and I've been so much more full of hope and joy. Crazy stuff has been happening very recently - a friend I hadn't talked to in TWO YEARS reached out to me seemingly randomly to see if I would play drums for a pretty big worship event down in Washington DC in a couple weeks. The crazy part? The day before, I had asked another friend of mine to pray for more opportunities for me to play drums. Turns out it was not so random after all! I have such confidence that God will do things like what we've talked about when I play that event. These things we're talking about give me such faith. How about you - how are you doing? And I have to thank Jesus because I have been opening the store at my job on Sunday morning and that's when I go to church along with Wednesday nights( he would schedule me to work on wed. too) I remember praying to God to make a way for me to go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and behold my God came thru for me! 👏👏👏👏👏 So I get both days off and I barely heard this song about two Sundays ago and I sung my heart out to this song! I can’t believe there are people who think this sort of Christ the Rock festival is problematic. Young people singing to Jesus is wonderful. Thank God for Pastor Louie and Passion. In the Philippines they celebrate Christmas, the advent of the King for months. All the pastors I know are wrapping packages and going out to evangelize and bring food and clothing to the lesser amongst them. That is what the body of Christ should do. They have Influence PH nights where young people get together and sing about King Jesus. This is marvelous. Amazing. Powerful

And I have to thank Jesus because I have been opening the store at my job on Sunday morning and that's when I go to church along with Wednesday nights( he would schedule me to work on wed. too) I remember praying to God to make a way for me to go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and behold my God came thru for me! 👏👏👏👏👏 So I get both days off and I barely heard this song about two Sundays ago and I sung my heart out to this song! I showed my eldest daughter this song and she loves it. God is so good. Thank you Father for hearing my cry!

I can’t believe there are people who think this sort of Christ the Rock festival is problematic. Young people singing to Jesus is wonderful. Thank God for Pastor Louie and Passion. In the Philippines they celebrate Christmas, the advent of the King for months. All the pastors I know are wrapping packages and going out to evangelize and bring food and clothing to the lesser amongst them. That is what the body of Christ should do. They have Influence PH nights where young people get together and sing about King Jesus. This is marvelous. Amazing. Powerful
