Spent about 6 minutes here and then appears to be heading its normal path towards the area behind the back wall where it will watch for a squirrel snack.
@@Cattitude48 i don’t think they get cooler than other material, but I’ve never checked that. This bobcat has laid on the pavers in the shade 3 other times that I’m aware of. I think it just wants shade. Last week on one particular day it was laying on the cement porch at two neighbors front door. I’ve also seen and photographed this bobcat twice laying on gravel in the shade of the house next door.
