I have watched the video, just catching up with comments... I so so enjoy seeing the updates on the grow tent cactus plants, really amazing growth on them all, again those cute stenocactus are adorable, and wow those Lithops seedlings have got so many varieties going on, spotted a few rarer ones amongst them, they are doing great with beautiful markings!👍🏻 All your seedlings are doing great...ooohh the selling idea is so lovely too, bet they sell like hot cakes!😄👌🌵
Thank you so much again, Claire. Yeah those Stenocactus are going to be very cool looking once they’re bigger. Oh that’s awesome there’s some rarer Lithops in there 😃 I’m definitely going to sow the rest of them this year. Yes it’ll soon be time to let go of some of the bigger seedlings, we will of course send a few your way for being so supportive on the channel and for your friendship, spider mites not included so don’t worry 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Claire. Wow those seedlings are so amazing 🤩 so beautiful. And the ones with offsets 🤩😍 wow specially the astro with loads of offsets 😲😮 and i love the spines on the stenocactus. Beautiful spines and patterns on all of them. Love seeing updates on those seedlings. Yes they don’t look ragonesei 🤔 but you know when I pollinate i just chucked in all the different pollens from whatever’s flowering at the same time. Hi Daz, we need an update video of these seedlings grown in the mars hydro ;) so curious to see the progress. I'm also growing a lot of seeds 60+ varieties at the moment. Not using any grow lights though due to being in subtropical environment. Growth progress is slow on cactus, but the biggest issue is pests and rust fungus. Thanks!
I’ve done quite a few updates on these since this video, they’ve changed a lot. It is a constant battle against spider mites in my grow tent, they have damaged a few plants in there. The conditions in there are perfect for them. Over the new few months though a lot of these will be potted up and put into a greenhouse to get their first dose of natural sunlight. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
@@Cactimania I'm sure they've changed a lot by now. Yes spider mites can do quite a bit of damage. Recently I started using neem oil and seems to be working so far, I'm applying it as a soil drench every two weeks for all cacti including seedlings now. Still need to see long term results with neem oil. One application does nothing but after applying it a couple of times I haven't seen any pest so far. I apply it in evenings after sundown and no damage/sunburn has been done to any of my cacti. My pleasure watching your videos, superb videography and presentation 👍
They can stay in the trays for quite a while. I’m at the stage now where it’s a good idea to pot some of them on as some are starting to touch each other and roots are coming through the drainage holes. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
