    Wow! I didn’t realise you had sown tons and i mean tons of seeds, Sweetheart! Took 4 days to finish. 😱 You got excited receiving those awesome seeds from our friend, Katherine, and the seeds from your own plants there. 😂 I loved the tips and info you shared and I’ve always admired how organised and clean your set up is. I know how “wonderfully enjoyable” repotting those tiny seedlings with your huge fingers and hands. 🤣 I saw some very nice ones there that could definitely be keepers. Well done, Sweetheart! Enjoyed watching the video with you. ❤️🤗🥰😘❤️

      Thank you so much my love 🥰 Yeah there’s a lot of seedlings there, and still a few more trays left to do and more seeds to sow haha. Some of the seedlings were pretty fiddly to pot up, yes lol. Some had drastically different growth rates even though they were the species. Definitely some keepers here including some 5 ribbed asterias I noticed 😊 Thank you as always babe for all your love, support and encouragement ❤️🥰🤗😘❤️

    WOW Daz :-D you have done a BRILLIANT job of pricking out and potting up the Cactus babies and they all look BRILLIANT all transplanted, its always such a time consuming job but its so rewarding when its done, and they all look so perfect and tidy too with the rows, planting them up into the trays really helps to save on space also, and the Mars Hydro grow tent is Fantastic, wow we haven't heard of the Jacks Magic compost before and keep us updated on how your plants get on with it, we loved the cool music too haha, and the thanks so much for sharing the wonderful transplanting of your cactus seedlings Daz, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a sunny Thursday today XXXX

      Thank you so much again, Lyn 😊 Yes a very time consuming but rewarding task. It was actually quite therapeutic sitting there potting them up listening to music 😊 The Jack’s Magic compost is very nice quality, I was pleasantly surprised. Being peat based I was worried it was going to contain lots of that stringy material but so far there hasn’t been much of that in it, and most importantly no plastic/glass or beasties hiding in it! Thank you so much again, Lyn. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you and Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜

    That’s a lot of seedlings! Good job and great patience. 😉 I have a few seedlings that are screaming to get out of their pots but I’m procrastinating. I know I have to dedicate at least a whole day to work on them. I watched all the ads on this one. 😉😃

      Thank you so much, Ana 😊 Yeah I was trying to put this task off for a bit longer because I knew it was going to be a time consuming job haha. Glad the majority of them are potted up now though, just a few others to do grown from seed that you sent, which are pretty big now as well. They’ll feature in the next seedling update 😉 Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜☕️

    Wow, what a great job👌, that's a ton of babies 😄! I loved seeing and learning. I am sowing my seeds very soon when temperature stabilizes definitely here, in the next weeks. So I will be following your advices in the way I can. I will be experimenting myself because I don't have any grow light or greenhouse but I will choose the right time of the year and I have a lot of sun☺️ (and shades for protection) hopefully I will get some seedlings🤞. Thank you for sharing! Have a nice day💕☮️🌵🌺🤗.

    Hi Daz! Love your potting mix for your seedlings and you’ve done a fantastic job planting every tiny cute button so neatly in rows. They’ll be loving their next stage of life under the Mars Hydro Grow Tent & Grow Light. In a year’s time you’ll be looking for more space once they’re all in individual pots. Great share. Warm greetings from Malaysia 🇲🇾

    This was great, they look like they are growing in a nursery, very professional and I think adding the Moler Clay, Daz, is an excellent choice for top dressing, it will really help hold that moisture there for longer, especially under the grow lights. It's going to be really easy to visually see the seedlings progress over time too, look forward to the updates as they are, as you mention, just under grow lights 👌🏻👍🏻😃🌵☀️🌵☀️🌵

    • @Cactimania
      @Cactimania  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much, Claire 😊 Yeah the molar clay will help out with that as the plants do dry out pretty quickly in the grow tent. It’s the same molar clay as that kitty litter stuff I used to use in the past, only this is horticultural grade so I don’t mind using it on the plants. Looking forward to seeing how much growth they all put on this year as well 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Claire. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜

    I have had dog crap 3 or 4 times, 2 bits of plastic bag and a plastic label with writing on it in potting mix. I noticed in the cheaper stuff here in Australia, there's a lot of woodchips.

    What an amazing channel you have. Very well done. I'd like to ask you question what do you use for ventilation inside the grow tent?

    • @Cactimania
      @Cactimania  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you 😊 For ventilation at the moment I’m just using the side and top vents that are part of the grow tent, and also a fan at the top to keep the grow light cool and the air circulating. Soon I’ll be adding an extractor fan, carbon filter etc. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵🌼🌺☀️🏜

    Hello mate, did you try to use this "fungus clear ultra" on smaler seedlings aswell? Worried about using it on the small ones, it looks harsh ^^ Regards!

    • @Cactimania
      @Cactimania  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah I've used it on young ones that had a bit of rust fungus in the past, they were fine. The only thing it didn't work on was some Neoporteria seedlings I had that suffered from damping off. Very hard to save seedlings that get that. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a lovely day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜

    I couldn't stand all that watering time. I bought a weed sprayer and only use it for watering I just blast a big mist til everything is done or water runs thru the drainage holes.

    • @Cactimania

      I’m not sure what non peat based soils you have there. I mostly use a loam based compost called John Innes. I’m sure there are similar available in the US, though. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
