Good afternoon Pam and sweet bird friends. I love these pockets. So many options to use up pages that you wonder what to do with them. Your creativity abounds and the fun you have is contagious. Thank you so much. ❤️❤️
Just wanted to say hello. With all the woes of the world it makes me feel that life is normal when I watch you creating your journals. You have a great uplifting way about you. I too have been spending a lot of time making them as well. Let’s just say I am getting there. It has been a very good productive way of spending lockdown here in Australia. I see many Aussie ladies doing the same . Bless them, all their creations are beautiful. PS love your bird. x
Hi Doris!! I hear you..there is peace found in the papers and little bits. :) We can dive in and get lost in there! I love seeing all the fabulous folks from Australia on here! Australia is really having fun with this book making craft! That warms my heart!! :) So happy you are here with me! Let's craft on!
Hey Pam! I don’t know how I missed this video?!? I love your ideas, and this is a great one. I love how you just keep on going, problems or not! You make me feel better when I do that stitching off the paper trick! Amazing as I’m looking right at it and do not see it go off the paper! Thanks for all you do! ❤️
POCKETS....a nice place to insert your precious creations. It's always a surprise when you pull them out. I love pockets and tucks but I don't know why this is something I don't often put in my journals. With this video it gives me the taste to do more of them. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded to do so. Thanks and SWEET DREAMS Pamaroo..Hug xoxo :-)
Sometimes the little project of a pocket or tuck is just what the journal needs and what we need in our artistic souls at the moment! Tuck that in your pocket and smoke it! ;) LOL
I have six pairs of glasses and took an half hour trying find a pair to watch your video, phew I need to sit n watch now x. Those napkins are soo pretty. Love the little pics of the ladies they are just the right size for lots of things
Pam, another wonderful video. You have so many creative ideas. Love watching you create. Thanks for making my day and setting me on a creative path. As always I long to own one of your wonderful journals. Enjoy your evening. Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Pam! I am here! I just finished watching this! I've been taking care of my mother some, cleaning house and trying to take care of myself. Thank you for all you do. ❤⚘
I love how you jump in with both feet and continue on even when you seem unsure about the outcome (the hand sewing). And behold the beauty that is the final result! I really really need to take this lesson, learn how to do exactly as you did and continue with reckless abandon.
This is a great project! I like that you experiment with techniques. Hand stitching does add a bit of old country look. This is a reminder to me that I can create a pocket outside the book.
Pam you know i love you and your work...but iv got to sop hitting the like button....because my phone thingie is full of "watch later" and "liked "things .... Just letting you know I will always be watching you..as iv said "you make my day fun...I'm 81..and into this crafting ....I will be sharing your tutorials to friends. Its Great therapy.I love Holly too.
I love the hand sewn look. Lol I have a sewing machine but I can not put the bobbin back in to save my life. Lolol. One day (possibly). Have a super fantastic weekend. By the way I made 2 little booklets and drawing a blank on what its called. Lol but I still have to decorate them both. 💜💜💜✌✌Sherry
Ooooo...I had that problem once!!! It turned out my machine had so much built up dust and debris from me not knowing I have to clean it out below the bobbin and foot area. I finally broke down and grabbed a screw driver and took off the bottom plates and looked down in to the belly and hand vacuumed it out, also uses tape to pick up loose debris. then put everything back and that darn bobbin holder slipped right back in to place. Not sure if it was the debris or maybe the bobbin holder had migrated a bit. The bobbin should be easy to insert. I'll bet its an easy fix! :)
Hi Pam 🙂 I love the hand stitching, especially since I don’t have a sewing 🧵 machine. Such pretty pockets they look so dainty. You are so much fun to watch and listen to 😊
Love this idea for using up book pages. I do not sew...can barely thread the needle with my eyes. LOL I liked your hand stitching!! Have no idea the name for any knots so it's whatever you want to call it, to me.
Love watching you create! Hey, if you end stitching with your sewing Machine needle in the highest position (and wheel on the side of machine can assist you with this) your paper or fabric will pull away and you will be able to cut the threads at any desired length. 👍
Got to try these ,sooo cute ! I love how you show the different ways to make each idea from sewing to glueing .... I love getting my hands messy with my art projects 😁. happy to see a new video up ! Have a great weekend ! 🌈🦄🌻
I'm laughing...still laughing ...still laughing with you at you hand stitching. Love your pockets Pam! Love the hand stitching too! I gotta get one of those sugar bell containers to make my life easier! Tyfs!~~hugs~~
These look like great fun❤ I'll have to work on some for my daughter's journal💞 Thanks for the fun & laughter too. I've learned to laugh at myself more as I craft😁😂😁🌸💜🌸
Pam....You are so funny! I laugh every time you do the handsewing....you talking to the tread...what are you? Nobody invited you here....OMG...THANKS for the laugh! And I watch this many times!!!!
You make me giggle with your experiments! “Where did you come from?” 😂. Whip stitch....blanket catches the loop before you pull it through. The word is Jardin, which is garden in French. I enjoy you so much!
I purchased the Sugarbelle because another TH-camr said it was easier on her arthritic hands. Mine came in yesterday and today's projects include transferring glues.
Another great use for book pages!!!!! So many ideas! (Snuck over to Amazon and ordered me some Sugar bell dispensers! I think Gayle said that they prevent the ‘ooze’ when using fabric fix! Hope that’s true!) thank you so much for all your time and energy! 😁
I'm a bit late to comment, but I got a small bottle with metal fine tip, empty glue bottle at Hobby Lobby where they sold quilling supplies. This was months ago before the world went crazy. Take care and God bless you and yours. Becky B from Arkansas
So pretty! The pockets would also be nice to pack money gifts nicely.

So true! :) Thanks!! :)
