Kaijo vs Outcast 4s if you had to choose one? It's tough for me because I have all Arrma 6s and 3s/4s trucks, and not sure if I want to get one of my boys this or a Outcast 4s. Heard the Outcast 4s is RPM arms and your set for durability. I do like the value here with the center diff vs slipper, and that suspension seems plush. Thoughts?

Maybe its swaying and tipping cause the suspension is a little bit too plush. But like you said jump it first then maybe tune the shocks or shock oil and that might help its sway and rolling cause how plush it is.
@Chris Watson Had a day off today and took it out jumping. Soaked up the landing perfectly but still a little tippy. Tried using a bunch of sway bars I've ordered from RC's I've owned no luck. going to drop the height next but really don't want to. Maybe pushing the shocks out and adjust pre-load🤔 I think the shock oil weight it good though.
@@cwatson42785 Hey Chris, 😂🤣Tried it too! Was the first thing I tried. Tried some measurements on all my Losi's, tried the Kraton, also tried some of my onroad cars. I guess having all these RC's is good for something😁

I like this truck n all but redcat has the tendency to not make supports for these pick up truck bodies like arrma does gorilla tape can do but so much I have my landslide supported wit gorilla tape n the back end of the truck is broken n kinda crushed cuz thers no real support like plastic mods on it.. and the shock towers suck..
@MR.Sinister 1 Totally agree, Gorilla Tape will help with the bend and breaks to a degree but doesn't help with the rub outs. Earl Morehead added some skids to the top.
@Manuel Garza It's not licensed so I think it could be anything😂 That 70's-80's age shared a lot of designs. Reminds me of my uncle's Datsun 620. Many summers riding in the back of that.
Very,very good but it's not good material's because it's broken too easy it's NOT comparable with Outcast because the Outcast it's a Rock I very likely but it's in the first run image in a few months????
@edwin miranda Jury is still out on material. It was 36 degrees out there. I give every rc a pass at those temps. As for the Outcast 4S, I love it but it has it's flaws too. Leaky shocks and that slipper. Took mine apart and there were other issues with the slipper assembly.
U didn’t really beat the hell out the truck u jus ran it on a flat surface wit no jumps.. n yet it broke sum pieces.. well redcat is mediocre n I kno I have 5 of ther products n I’ll nvr buy a redcat product again..and they really don’t make any good upgrades for ther products u have to search other companies n see if ther parts r compatible I have arrma parts in my shredder n it’s works btr than redcat junk parts!!
@MR.Sinister 1 I've had my fair share of Redcats, don't think I would be that harsh on this one. Check out my other videos. This was the first and last breaks. 6s plus under 40 degrees was not good mix😂 Those parts that broke are weak points, no question. But I feel this is a different Redcat truck. Plus I feel 4s is a better place for this truck. Much more manageable. All of my other runs was all on 4s.

@@ReadySetRC Hey this might be a stupid idea and I'm not sure if even possible but would the Rival mt10 sway bars work on the kaiju? Just a thought.
@@cwatson42785 Hey Chris, 😂🤣Tried it too! Was the first thing I tried. Tried some measurements on all my Losi's, tried the Kraton, also tried some of my onroad cars. I guess having all these RC's is good for something😁
Nice comparison to outcast
@JayTee RC
Thanks JayTee, much appreciated👍👍
I got mine last night it's freakin awesome...
@Manuel Garza
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
That body looks like a Chevy LUV
@Brian Argo The Outcast? Totally agree!
I tried your link for the truck and found it to be bogus
@Patrick Robinson Thanks for the info, I've since changed it. Looks like Joe from OMGRC changed the original link.
NICE RIP GUY👍💯👊
@RC Guy Garage
Thanks RCGG👍👍🤘🤘
@@ReadySetRC BACKFLIPS FOR DAAAAAYZ
@@rcguygarage I't been a while since I've driven a truck like this!
@@ReadySetRC sounded like you had a BLAST!
Yes i have a single 3s it works fine. I can run two 3s lipos to ill just call redcat in the morning
@ericjamesable Let me know how it goes. Now that a single 3S is working fine, I wonder if one of the deans leads coming off the ESC is bad. When you connect two 3S batteries, it beeps 6 times, correct?
Bro I got to have one 👍🏾💯 Rcfam4life
@
GAP reviews AtoZ Bro, Redcat may have a hit on their hands.
@@ReadySetRC yea the skid plates would be the best
First thing I'm going to do is take the Kaiju and Redcat Decals off...it would look alot better, to me anyway
@Jonny Crash You know with how fast this goes and the backflips, I don't see anything other than a blue streak😂
It's not a datson lol it's a old school jeep body or international truck body..
@Manuel Garza
It's not licensed so I think it could be anything😂 That 70's-80's age shared a lot of designs. Reminds me of my uncle's Datsun 620. Many summers riding in the back of that.
I was thinking international, now I see datsun
Yep its broke. In. Now
@Jeffrey Roderick 😂🤣
Very,very good but it's not good material's because it's broken too easy it's NOT comparable with Outcast because the Outcast it's a Rock I very likely but it's in the first run image in a few months????
@edwin miranda
Jury is still out on material.
@@ReadySetRC yea I agree wit the cold which is y I didn’t go bashing this weekend.. if redcat made good upgrades to the important parts to ther products it would be decent..
@@mr.sinister1279 Totally agree. Even with this it took a while to get some of those upgrade parts. I'll give them a pass on replacement parts because this was released during Covid and that may have hurt supply but some things should be available at the release since they know what is going to break.
@@ReadySetRC agree.. I have arrma parts in my shredder..
looks the same as traxxas maxx :D nice copy paste
@Adrean Shimov I've seen both in person and I would not agree. This is more of a larger version of the Helion Avenge / Team Associated Rival MT10.
