Outstanding skill, presentation and camera work. Thank you for sharing your methods of work for making mitered end wedges, world class Sir. A BIG lesson for me is how an undercut angle is prone to opening up the joint as the piece is leveled to flush!

Thank you Pablo, very intresting to se you work on the brige! Would have been even mode intresting if it hade been done reda to put on the guitar! I am not shure if the bridge on my Cordoba Espana ltd 45 is handmade or it is massproducerade. But it is hard to till because of the poly laqure! Very intresting to look at your handwork🕊🇸🇪

This video is, as always, very instructional and clear. Interesting trick using the imagine on the chisel for cutting edge to 45°! I have a question: how do you cut the slot for the end inlay? By hand or by a router with a milling cutter?
I used a router.

Is the connection between the back strip and the back purfling/binding the same process? Will there be a future video to show how that is done?
No, in the back this is done differently. The center strip is inserted as the two half of the back are joined and later on in the construction the bindings are fitted to join the back strip. The whole process is explained in detail on my course which you can find on www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com
This thick white purfling you’re using….do you make that or purchase it somewhere? I’d really like to find some, it looks outstanding against the dark wood
The thick white inlay is a 1 mm thick veneer that you can get from veneer suppliers. I dint make it myself.
@@redkitekk thanks Pablo I’ll search for some. Seeing the inlay / purfling of your guitars inspired me to try something similar on my current build. Currently I have 1/4th finished (1 side of the soundboard) and I’m attempting a “framed” look with the end graft. I’ll be utilizing your French polish video series to guide me on my 1st French polish attempt as well. Hopefully all goes well. Cheers and thank you for your videos.
