Police have released details about three children who died at a property in Sea Mills. The three children, two boys and a girl, were pronounced dead after police officers responded to a concern for welfare call in Blaise Walk in the early hours of Sunday, February 18.
A 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene and taken to hospital with injuries described as not life threatening. She remains in police custody at this time, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed during a press conference in Blaise Walk this morning (Monday, February 19).
Chief Inspector Vicks Hayward-Melen said formal identification had not yet taken place, but officers believe the children involved to be a seven-year-old boy, a three-year-old girl, and a 10-month old infant boy. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist family liaison officers, she told the press conference.
