I m Parisian i loved the movie although wasnt listening to robbie then i do now. And i m 59 !!!

Over the years I've heard all about Robbie's life story, eg how he fell out with his band mates, how he had a drink and drugs problem, etc.... you know, the usual celebrity stuff... AFAIK this movie is, at least in part, about this time in his life. IMO this topic has been "done to death" so why would I want to watch that? .... Sorry, but Robbie is yesterday's popstar telling yesterday's story. I think this film is ideal for his mega-fans.. but that's not me.

American here. I been following Robbie, admittedly off-and-on, since he and his mates debuted in 1990. Even though I crushed on Jason Orange, my favorite Robbie solo song is Millennium. But, yes, I would say that 90 - 95% Americans do not know who Robbie or Take That is. We’re a very hard market to break into.
