There's something I find interesting about Ozzie in this episode. He's shown that he celebrates his sin and isn't afraid to make fun of people who don't indulge, but he also respects healthy boundaries in a relationship. He's all for consent, he's against love potions and artificial love, Ozzie respects Fizzarolli's decisions but also isn't afraid to tell Fizz when he's worried about Fizz's safety - it's a bizarre combination of love and lust, and honestly, I enjoy it. I know people probably expected Ozzie to be a hardcore r-pist and someone obsessed with doing the deed all the time (y'know, like how most religions portray him), but I personally enjoy that Ozzie is the most decent sin we've seen so far alongside Queen Bee. Both indulge in their sins, but they also have moral boundaries that they enforce so people don't start going too overboard.
I wouldn’t say rpe has anything to do with lust, really. nothings a bigger boner killer than wanting someone who earnestly doesn’t want you in return. once you push past that, you’re no longer doing what you do for sheer pleasure alone, but also to show the other person that you don’t see them as a human being, which I’d argue is more akin to violence than anything lust related. rpe isn’t s3x, so why would the embodiment of lust not care about consent?

Most depictions of Asmodeus have him killing newlywed husbands on their wedding nights and assaulting their brides afterwards, or he's just generally depicted as a serial r-pist. I definitely agree on your point that r-pe is a deed killer, though. I guess I never considered that Asmodeus *would* focus on the "not killing the vibe" mindset on top of the "consent is sexy" aspect.

I really like that they didn’t stick to that initial idea, tho. it would’ve gotten pretty tiring and bland after a while. they seem to be thinking about the each of the sins in their own way. like with gluttony, bee insisted on overconsumption for the sake of overconsumption, not to fill a void in your life like blitzo was doing at her party. and people need to be comfortable and happy with her and her parties so they trust her enough to overindulge, which explains why she’s such a great party host that just wants everyone to have fun.

In Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the circles of Lust and Gluttony are on the outer sides for being superficial desires that every living being has: Chasing after what you believe makes you happy, and keeping yourself fed. But like i said, taken to extremes that harm others. Plus, there's a division of three evils (or violence? i don't fully remember) that one can commit: -Evil unto one's neighbour, -Evil unto oneself, -And Evil unto the Lord. Later circles and punishments entail sins that have more thought put into their wickedness. Envy can lead to developing such resentment to others, that one may start forging bad thoughts to bring misfortune upon said others, as i understand it. Anger would be in a somewhat similar boat, but i believe it's a bit worse than envy And in one of the lowest circles there are sub-circles for specific brands of sinners, such as fortune tellers, thieves, panderers, seducers, politicians, etc. One of the most grim circles sadly is the Wood of Suicides, for throwing away the gift, sanctity of life that the Lord has granted someone, is considered a crime within the Divine Comedy. I'm not a professionaly educated person, i'm just interested about it. Oh, and where it concerns depictions of the Sins themselves: Darksiders 3 has a pretty great depiction of Lust. It doesn't focus on the sexual aspect, but on being full-on desire. Desire for that what you think will make you most happy, will bring you fulfillment, redemption, ascension, restoration... and others will have to make way for it in order to achieve that desire. Divisive as that game is amidst the fans of its series, i truly believe the scenes with Lust are among the high points of the series as a whole.

There are so many things to say about this episode. Fizz and Ozzie are couple goals, the songs are amazing (Seriously, I can’t pick just one), and the scene with Fizz and the deaf kid is so precious. Also, I can’t be the only one who thinks that the toxic fan is dressed like Shaggy.
The F**k You song was one of the best in the entire show so far.. and am really proud of Fizz here.. But Mammon will be our big antagonist for the rest of the season i guess.. he seems pretty powerful and represents kinda all of the bad habits from the other sins as well..
It's refreshing to have a sin that is actually an asshole since so far Bee and Ozzie seem pretty good, and we don't know much about Luci but I don't think he’ll be an antagonist. Also since all the sins turn huge in their final form I wonder if Lucifer has that same form which would be ironic since he's short as fuck or maybe his form will be different because he's a seraph/fallen angel.

Ozzie and Fizz have a healthy relationship, but Blitz was right that they were hypocrites. They both cruelly and unapologetically ridiculed Moxxie and Millie AND Blitz and Stolas' relationships in front of everyone, only to keep their own hidden.

Moxxie should've read the room before choosing to sing a romantic song. Ozzie and Fizz gave him a chance to correct himself and he didn't, so he got ridiculed. As for Stolas and Blitz, it was mostly Fizz(and Verosika) shitting on Blitz, and we can't really blame him, at this point he was sure Blitz caused the fire on purpose so Fizz didn't hold any punches. Ozzie was honestly happy with Stolas and Blitz because Stolas threw away his marriage for a fling with an imp. He literally committed the sin of lust and Ozzie was impressed.
Well, Moxxie and Millie were fine at the end, people even applauded them. It was Stolas and Blitzø who were humiliated the most, since Fizz and Verosika were hurt by Blitzø and Stolas was married at the time but was in a date with an imp

Mammon has been mentioned before. Last episode Asmodeus asked if Fizz was going to the meeting with him alone, and mentioned Fizz being "Mam's big brand figure" His face is also printed in hell's money and can be seen in Looloo land. In that episode Blitz called Fizz a cheap rip off, of a sell out jester, referring to Fizz looking like Mammon. Viv had mentioned Fizz working for mammon quite early on, so it's not really anything new for lot of the fandom :)
I'm watching this for like the hundredth time I feel, and I realized only now that during his meeting with fans, when he hugs two of them, they seem to realize something's off with Fizz. Also, congrats for catching the "women ain't funny" joke! EDIT : oh, and Fizz looked even worst just after the encounter with the crazy fan during the fan meeting, when he realized Mammon was coming
If Stolas is your favorite then I'm pretty sure you're going to enjoy the next episode a lot. ;) The titles of all season 2 episodes were released sometime ago. Not gonna spoil it (the title kinda says it all) because I don't know if you've seen it. But Stolas is going to play a big role in the coming episode. Vivienne also said it's going to be a plot heavy one she's been looking forward to.
Since the last episode of the season is a christmas special I'm expecting that we'll get the next 5 episode spaced out over the next year (middle/end of January to Christmas/December) with like a 2-3 month wait in between episodes. Which sounds pretty good to me.

Based on Bee's song, there's a lot of food and non-alcoholic drinks involved, so I think Gluttony Ring may be just be a Food Court + restaurant + Bars District. Mammon however, seems to be more solely based on money, so I don't think its one specific section he "sells". From what I saw in Greed ring, its like Wall-Street esque Stocks and Brokers. Basically a Financial district. I don't see how his Clown-Theme fits into that, but I think its moreso he is just embodying what sells the most, since clowns are strangely mainstream in hell for some reason.
Actually Sloth is the one that has the drugs as Bee always keeps trying to steal from them for her parties Envy is the ring that has the more aquatic demons like Glitz and Glam and the Karen and her kid in the waiting room in Western Energy. Greed only has sharks like the term “loan sharks” as it’s filled with big money businesses including the mafia
Finally, they've left the sex jokes aside so as not to spoil moments of emotional growth for the characters. This is the first episode in a long time that I haven't had to roll my eyes during a powerful emotional scene because of the insertion of a tired, unfunny sex joke. I swear that every time I watch this show and come across a deep scene that's worthwhile, I end up thinking "please don't ruin this moment with a stupid joke, please don't do that".
Appropriate for the australian to turn into a medium sized spider. Also, it's two minutes from his 'two minutes notice' to the final 'fuck you' at the end of the song. Nice.
And so, finally, Mammon has made his appearance. His name is Hebrew and literally means “money” or “wealth”. As such, he is the go-to representation for the Sin of Greed (which, btw, doesn’t have to be exclusively for money; it can be for any sort of material wealth, really). In fact, he represents both wealth and money in the New Testament where it is said that one “cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:24) at the same time. He’s usually depicted either as a tall man holding bags of money or a tall noble human with golden hair wearing fine clothes. So this show certainly took a lot of creative liberty with his design (and tbh, I love it).
Darksiders Genesis also has a fun take on Mammon. He's almost like a rat or squirrel who has a number of vaults throughout the Hellish realm, and in his bossfight he swims through his gold like Scrooge McDuck and uses a number of artifacts within the vault (an arcane book, a mirror and a GIANT HAMMER) to give him an extra edge.

I also imagine a return to IMP form after this episode, with Moxxie, Millie and Blitzo, but not with Loona. Loona is just the secretary, she's not supposed to be out on field missions and Blitzo doesn't want to endanger her (even though hell hounds seem to need little to no protection since they're tanks and are designed to be guards and fighters, with Blitzo probably being the only demon who who doesn't utilize Loona's ability because he sees her as his daughter)

Mammon is the Sin of greed; like Asmodeus is the sin of Lust and Queen Bee (lzebub) is the sin of Gluttony. We haven't meet Lucifer who is the sin of Pride, Leviathan sin of Envy, Satan sin of Wrath, and Belphegor sin of Sloth. [note: Belphegor is said to be a woman and both her and Satan are mentioned in the season 1 episode 8 by Queen Bee]
It's also a name associated with being beholden to material possessions in life. There's a quote that goes "you cannot serve God and the Mammon at once". Darksiders Genesis has a neat take on Mammon, being an almost rat-like demon who swims through the material riches that make up his arena and utilizing a few of the relics in there to keep War and Strife distracted (like a magic tome, magic mirror and gigantic floating hammer).
Okay so we've seen Lust, Greed and Gluttony now. All we're missing is Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. I think Pride is actually Lucifer though so I don't think he'll make an appearance in Helluva Boss. He's Charlie's Dad though so I assume he'll be in Hazbin at some point.

The F**k You song was one of the best in the entire show so far.. and am really proud of Fizz here.. But Mammon will be our big antagonist for the rest of the season i guess.. he seems pretty powerful and represents kinda all of the bad habits from the other sins as well..
It's refreshing to have a sin that is actually an asshole since so far Bee and Ozzie seem pretty good, and we don't know much about Luci but I don't think he’ll be an antagonist.
Also since all the sins turn huge in their final form I wonder if Lucifer has that same form which would be ironic since he's short as fuck or maybe his form will be different because he's a seraph/fallen angel.

Ozzie and Fizz have a healthy relationship, but Blitz was right that they were hypocrites.
They both cruelly and unapologetically ridiculed Moxxie and Millie AND Blitz and Stolas' relationships in front of everyone, only to keep their own hidden.
It's mostly the Stolas and Blitz thing that makes them hypocrites because of the whole royalty with a commoner taboo.

Moxxie should've read the room before choosing to sing a romantic song. Ozzie and Fizz gave him a chance to correct himself and he didn't, so he got ridiculed.
As for Stolas and Blitz, it was mostly Fizz(and Verosika) shitting on Blitz, and we can't really blame him, at this point he was sure Blitz caused the fire on purpose so Fizz didn't hold any punches. Ozzie was honestly happy with Stolas and Blitz because Stolas threw away his marriage for a fling with an imp. He literally committed the sin of lust and Ozzie was impressed.
Well, Moxxie and Millie were fine at the end, people even applauded them. It was Stolas and Blitzø who were humiliated the most, since Fizz and Verosika were hurt by Blitzø and Stolas was married at the time but was in a date with an imp
Ngl this might be my favorite episode of Helluva boss. Mammon was just as lovably evil as I expected him to be and the stuff with Fizz and Ozzie was amazing. Not to mention the great songs

Mammon has been mentioned before. Last episode Asmodeus asked if Fizz was going to the meeting with him alone, and mentioned Fizz being "Mam's big brand figure"
His face is also printed in hell's money and can be seen in Looloo land. In that episode Blitz called Fizz a cheap rip off, of a sell out jester, referring to Fizz looking like Mammon.
Viv had mentioned Fizz working for mammon quite early on, so it's not really anything new for lot of the fandom :)

If Stolas is your favorite then I'm pretty sure you're going to enjoy the next episode a lot. ;) The titles of all season 2 episodes were released sometime ago. Not gonna spoil it (the title kinda says it all) because I don't know if you've seen it. But Stolas is going to play a big role in the coming episode. Vivienne also said it's going to be a plot heavy one she's been looking forward to.

Since the last episode of the season is a christmas special I'm expecting that we'll get the next 5 episode spaced out over the next year (middle/end of January to Christmas/December) with like a 2-3 month wait in between episodes. Which sounds pretty good to me.

Asmodius: Lord of X-cubi (incubi/succubi), creates and sells XXX products, and manages Lust Ring (themed like a Red Light District).
Beezlebub: Queen if Hell Hounds, frequently hosts parties, (possibly the distributor of drugs and alcohol?), manages Gluttony Ring (unknown theme)
Mammon: Lord of Sharks (and aquatic themed demons?), is a Clown (retired), sells (assumed based on Ozzy making Fiz bots for him) other Sins products, and celebrities entertainment, manages Greed Ring (based on New York and other high pop cities)
Based on Bee's song, there's a lot of food and non-alcoholic drinks involved, so I think Gluttony Ring may be just be a Food Court + restaurant + Bars District.
Mammon however, seems to be more solely based on money, so I don't think its one specific section he "sells". From what I saw in Greed ring, its like Wall-Street esque Stocks and Brokers. Basically a Financial district. I don't see how his Clown-Theme fits into that, but I think its moreso he is just embodying what sells the most, since clowns are strangely mainstream in hell for some reason.

Finally, they've left the sex jokes aside so as not to spoil moments of emotional growth for the characters. This is the first episode in a long time that I haven't had to roll my eyes during a powerful emotional scene because of the insertion of a tired, unfunny sex joke. I swear that every time I watch this show and come across a deep scene that's worthwhile, I end up thinking "please don't ruin this moment with a stupid joke, please don't do that".

And so, finally, Mammon has made his appearance.
His name is Hebrew and literally means “money” or “wealth”. As such, he is the go-to representation for the Sin of Greed (which, btw, doesn’t have to be exclusively for money; it can be for any sort of material wealth, really). In fact, he represents both wealth and money in the New Testament where it is said that one “cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:24) at the same time.
He’s usually depicted either as a tall man holding bags of money or a tall noble human with golden hair wearing fine clothes. So this show certainly took a lot of creative liberty with his design (and tbh, I love it).
Darksiders Genesis also has a fun take on Mammon. He's almost like a rat or squirrel who has a number of vaults throughout the Hellish realm, and in his bossfight he swims through his gold like Scrooge McDuck and uses a number of artifacts within the vault (an arcane book, a mirror and a GIANT HAMMER) to give him an extra edge.

Loona is just the secretary, she's not supposed to be out on field missions and Blitzo doesn't want to endanger her (even though hell hounds seem to need little to no protection since they're tanks and are designed to be guards and fighters, with Blitzo probably being the only demon who who doesn't utilize Loona's ability because he sees her as his daughter)

Mammon is the Sin of greed; like Asmodeus is the sin of Lust and Queen Bee (lzebub) is the sin of Gluttony. We haven't meet Lucifer who is the sin of Pride, Leviathan sin of Envy, Satan sin of Wrath, and Belphegor sin of Sloth. [note: Belphegor is said to be a woman and both her and Satan are mentioned in the season 1 episode 8 by Queen Bee]
If you know Paradise Lost, Mammon is the General of Lucifer who, after falling, suggests building Hell into a utopia rivaling Heaven.
It's also a name associated with being beholden to material possessions in life. There's a quote that goes "you cannot serve God and the Mammon at once".
Darksiders Genesis has a neat take on Mammon, being an almost rat-like demon who swims through the material riches that make up his arena and utilizing a few of the relics in there to keep War and Strife distracted (like a magic tome, magic mirror and gigantic floating hammer).
Okay so we've seen Lust, Greed and Gluttony now. All we're missing is Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. I think Pride is actually Lucifer though so I don't think he'll make an appearance in Helluva Boss. He's Charlie's Dad though so I assume he'll be in Hazbin at some point.
