Question. can that waist band be done by cutting it into 3, meaning front part and 2 back pieces and shape the sides? remember i am just asking. I am not a fashion designer, but I saw someone did it on youtube and made a lot of sense to me because it fitted better without gap on the sides. thanks in advance and thanks for sharing the video. Question: Before you join the band to the skirt, did you run a stitch over the pleats to keep them together...or was it just the pins keeping them together?

You can run a stitch to keep the pleats in place in your own case, but I didn't, am always in a hurry, don't mind me
