We have a friend looking for a little pony for her little grandbaby. She is searching for something that is well trained that will keep her grandbaby safe and that she can grow up with. We just happened to see that an auction not to far away from us is having a herd dispersal of LITTLE MINI HORSES!! We head out to see if any of these ponies are what she is looking for....They are so cute!
Follow along with our family as we share our life events while living on our 168 acre homestead, farm and stables! We are all about raising and training our horses, the Missouri Foxtrotter. Our goal is to bring awareness to this breed and showcase just how wonderful they are! We also raise and train our working border collie dogs. And don’t forget the homesteads sheep and goats!!! We also go to occasional auctions and recently have gotten into regenerative farming/agriculture. We are all about learning how to improve our fields/soil.

Everybody needs a buddy. Horses are herd animals. My 2 ponies are so devoted to each other, when separated even by a fence, they get agitated.

Oh my what a sweetie Rose is..she's all trained up too..good price for all that experience too..at the end when the little girl was calling Rose was just wonderful..but she does need a lil buddy..that tiny one would have been perfect company for Rose..they're natural herd animals and l think really flourish with a friend. . Or even a little Donkey just for company and playtime..look how Oliver and Champ play..Bob looked amazing..such a stunning horse..next time take Bekah so you can get another pony..and a friend for Rose !! What a sweet little pony!! Great choice. I was so hoping your friend would get one of the others, too. I believe with all my heart that every equine needs a companion. They are herd animals - not solitary animals. For little Rose’s emotional health, she needs a Buddy. I do hope you show more of her from time to time

Hmmm! What a sweet video. I forgot the pleasure and joy of the little horse. My daughter caused a stir in 4 h trail class county fair. She approached the gate and Said pony open the gate. Being an escape artist pony did exactly that. The elite riders on large horses were protesting but the judge had a big heart! Pony was the leader of all the big horses. You have a gentle and soft touch with the horses. You know the connection your souls can make. What pleasure the times you blend into one. It is like know other sept maybe a golden retriever.😊

I think you might have a soft spot for little Rose, because you took the time to trim those tiny hooves and get them going in the right direction. You are a good man and a good friend.

i can just imagine what it would be like to grow up in horse country and to have property and horses. I grew up in concrete hell and how I wish I'd grown up in the country. Maybe God will let me do a do over. Wonderful video, the ponies were adorable and the girl you picked out was already so well trained and gentle. That little girl will grow up and love her sweet little pony. I hope you make a video of two in a couple years when the little girl is bigger and able to ride by herself. This video brought me so much joy to watch. I grew up in a hobby farm, back in the 80’s-90’s. We just had the 1 pony, and she primarily hung out with Holsteins (dairy farm used our land for grazing). She thought she was a cow, and would follow them all in at the 4pm milking. Unfortunately she ate far too much grain over time and got terribly overweight. Hard on my parents learning the hard way. Our Lady was deeply loved by us 4 kids. I just discovered your channel, and it’s wonderful.

So I know she's going to be a perfect fit for the little girl. She looks like she would enjoy an equine friend. Great total package.
Pony’s that are broke to ride are for little kids like this little girl to learn to ride, then sold are if not kept as a pet. So others can teach their children in the safeties way possible .

What a beautiful gentle little pony, and I think her name Rose 🌹😊really suits her. It's good to try to keep their names as she knows it and will come when called. I agree, though Rose does need a friend or 2. I wonder if they have had horses or ponies before, only all that grass is too much for that little one on her own and can cause her to get too fat and end up with laminitis/founder. I know JR has probably already mentioned this issue to Roses new family. Anyway, she looks really happy and settled in. Can you keep us posted on how she is doing from time to time. Maybe Daisy and Winnie can go on a little holiday to keep Rose company. 🌹 😅😊
Absolutely a perfect match!! This video brought tears to my 😢eyes remembering my love for my little pony when I was growing up. I was 5 years old n had him well into my senior year of high school. Rode him everywhere n with all my other friends big tall horses. He was black n white n very gentle at only 12 to 13 hands hi. He graciously n patiently taught me everything about horses. It was my first experience with horses/ponies. Our neighbors were moving n had too many horses so they just gave him to us❤. Best thing ever to happen in my lifetime!! Now it makes me want to get one for my grand kids to share❤ Wonderful Memories Wonderful Video!!❤

I wish I could find a sweet pony like that for my great grand kids. This is cattle and quarter horse country. Ponies are scarce as hens teeth around here. I enjoyed the video and learned a few things to look for in ponies.
