It's been a very long time since I've been at the C Gates. I just don't make it to Las Vegas much. The last time was for a work conference. I don't remember all those restaurants and extra stores. Also, more slots. I guess the policy now is to drain all your credit cards dry before boarding your plane. Spend all that was left of what was your kid's college education fund. :/
Only airport I know of where the prices aren’t extremely marked up at the stores is Pittsburgh International Airport. A local law prohibits that practice. It was nice until 9/11 when you now need a boarding pass to get past security. Lots of locals would do shopping there
@@YellowProductions usually don’t go through them as I usually drive to the Washington DC area. I only live four hours away. Similar to you to Las Vegas.
Just flew through C yesterday on SWA and I have to say I thought it was pretty depressing. The food options are terrible, the gate areas are horribly cramped, and the lighting is horrible! It was pretty depressing and hope they refurbish them in the future. Plus, security was terribly inefficient.
I hate that terminal which is why I will never fly southwest into Vegas. There is no place to sit, nothing around, horrible places to eat United is in a much better part of the airport that was remodeled. C gates are still in the very outdated area. Vegas is said to be working on an entire new airport at some point soon.
How is Southwest on longer flights? I fly them all the time interisland in Hawaii, but never on longer flights in the continental US. Hawaii flights are 30 minutes so I don't care where I sit. Their open seating and boarding process worries me.😁 I do find that the earlier you check in the higher up you are in the boarding process. I guess you could pay to board early...
The Canadian airlines have been moved to a new terminal, I think it's #3 and there's nothing in there. Not even a jamba juice. Just a BK with all the employees angry at life (can't blame them). I'm low grade pissed that the other terminals have a shake shack.

Yes. The earlier you check in the better letter and number you get. I generally avoid Southwest for flights longer than 90 minutes myself
