As someone who is due to start a PhD in the summer, I’m so glad I found your TH-cam channel! Very well carried out videos full of useful information. Good job!
Welcome aboard! Best of luck with your application
After watching this video I can say I’m interested in organizing my day differently by utilizing some of these suggestions. This was helpful. Thank you!
Yes! Let me know how it goes!
Use iPad to plan - time block planning
3:00 don’t switch between deep and shallow work - have separate time blocks for them
4:13 4hr deep work /day - rest for other tasks
4:40 difficult to stay off social media? Have 2hr time block where you can’t, and then have a short block when you can
5:01 3x 2hr blocks of work - can be rearranged to suit your day
6:44 use breaks during “no social media” blocks to go on walks, have coffee, etc.
Thanks for this!
I'm a 2nd year PhD student in computer science and I was desperate until I saw your vedios. Just watching it gives me a good motivation to organize my time and start a real work. I hope I can do that like you do and stick to a routine 🙏 . Again thank you very much for these very very useful and helpful vedios 💓
Hey I'm so glad you have found my videos helpful!

I started this experiment not so long ago. I noticed that when I do time blocking, I get more done that day without feeling overwhelmed. The days I do not time block feel overwhelming.
What do you use to record screen? Great video!
It’s screen recording built into the iPhone / iPad
Hi, this my first year as a PhD student and actually I have a part-time job wish takes me half of the day , so I have a big problem in organizing the time of studies, also I procrastinate too much I could not respect any plan I did for my day :( :( , I get so motivated when I see some videos like yours and I make plans for studying and... but O failed every time
I have a recent video on how I plan my week given that I now work around 20-30 hours per week on top of my PhD

Yes I hope you will have a better day tomorrow
I get demotivated when I cannot handwrite titles like that lmao Usually starts with trying to make a fancy title and continues for 10 minutes before I give up I hope you are doing well today!
Lollll. Ok so stick to nice and easy headers!
