The best budget, and compact, hand grinder is the 1Zpresso Q2 heptagonal burr. We liked the 1Zpresso K-Plus so much that bought the $72 Q2 just for travel, as it's also well designed and produces top quality coffee grounds with it's 38mm steel burrs.
My workday grinder for AeroPress since May 23, it's perfect for that, I only ever grind 15g at a time. I was so impressed I purchased the 1Zpresso K-Ultra, for espresso at home.
Almost bought a Kingrinder K6, but we have a 1zpresso KPlus already and this little Q2 is what we needed for travel as it fits inside the Aeropress and Aeropress Go. We do agree the Kingrinders are great value too.
