I'm currently finishing my 2nd Clinical rotation this week and I already can relate. My first rotation was at a cardiac hospital and I saw some crazy stuff. It was Echo only and EVERY patient they felt was "more stat" lolol. But now Out patient is suuuuuper chilled. I get bored sometimes 😩😂😂
I love a "super stat" only to get up on the floor and have to wait outside the room while they draw blood, take history ect. It's about the only break I get during the day.
Haha. So true. My patient is more STAT. The ER, MSU and ICU always fighting about who is more STAT. And lunch for an hour 🤣🤣🤣. I want to work at that outpatient facility.
As a new sonographer I used to apologize for not getting to the next Stat quick enough constantly now I just laugh and am amazed by the I'm more Stat situations😂
I've worked both and I have to say outpatient is way more chill, but if your booked it can get a little crazy! Sometimes I like hospital/er/inpatient better... Depends on the day
Definitely not chill at my op job! I have to keep a smile on my face all while knowing damn well I am not going to make it on time to lunch..because my first TA/TV decided she needed to take 20 mins to pee and poop before and after her exam! Then and we get a ton of add on STATS! It's a nice break when a pt or 2 doesn't show but then days when they all show up are just torture!😭 #facts #factorywork
I switched to an OP clinic. But now I have front office staff who pop in fit ins without asking. So just as you're finishing what you THINK is the last case....BAM...Abdo/pelvis with testes or some such sideswipes you
Not true about outpatient clinic. We have stats in 10 min slots for OB complete, sometimes no lunch because patients are late. Always the same excuse: I got lost, drove to another clinic, traffic was very bad. Patients scheduled every 30 min and no extra time to put a patient on the bed or take a patient out of the bed if a patient is on wheelchair or can’t move. Some clinics are overbooked. Not as relaxing as you are showing.
It's comforting to know we all can relate to this.

I work outpatient, it’s chill, but not that chill. 🤣🤣🤣 But I don’t have to deal with all the drama or bitchy nurses who think they know everything.
excellent and so true. forgot one though, "sir, can you please lift your pannus?"
😂

So relatable !🥺🥺🥺
OMG I bet as a new sonographer we have to experience the first part in order to get to the second part
This is sooooo accurate! I am both inpatient and outpatient so I can definitely relate.
Hahaha @ More STAT!!!
Na. L&D is the mostest statest in any hospital setting. Outpatient clinics nowadays double your schedule with breast exams if they do mammos also.
Truest video ever made by mankind!
our outpatient sends us the stats from outside offices, tis what it is, one at a time.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 The accuracy 🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣. Why are nursing supervisors so mean ??
Am from Africa and this is true 😂😂😂
