Yo, SmoothOperative here. If you watched this video in its entirely, thank you and I hope you enjoyed the run. It was a struggle at times learning this version of the game (UK Box~ which is NOT exactly the same as the Eidos Premier Collection version I ran at AGDQ2019) due to the difference in glitches/strats/routing. I poured a lot of time and energy into learning this technically faster version of Tomb Raider II (see void travel 56:30 RIP Xian lol) specifically for Frame Fatales. Tomb Raider II is one of my favorite games, so if you're someone who wants to start speedrunning and has no idea where exactly to start, choose a game you love. If you need me, I'll be on Twitch. ✌️
That void travel was awesome! Had no idea where you were going to end up. When I saw it was the end of the level, I was like "OH WOW, COOL"

Ah, speedrunning. The only time where you can say "the wall is behaving a bit weird at the moment" because it's not letting you teleport through it. :-P
I have to confess that I've watched this video around 10 times now. I've grown up with Tomb Raider and 2 is one of my favourite games ever but I also love the commentary.
I remember when I learned to glitch onto the Manor's roof was one of the biggest moments of my life as a gamer.
Awesome! Your TR2 run at AGDQ was my favorite run of the whole thing! Awesome to see you run it again! It's such a fun run to watch, between the movement tech and the ridiculous glitches, and you execute it so well.
I’m disappointed at the dislike ratio on this video! This was a fantastic run of a game renowned for its tricky camera and movement. The AGDQ run was also brilliant and the commentary was really entertaining both times around.
This was a really awesome run. Really fun to watch and expertly played.

The commentary made this run one of the cutest ones I've ever watched, really nice memories from this game, glad I can finally see how it ended (I never made it past the sunken ship) so I can scratch that off my list, hope to see more runs like this in the future :).

This is the only tombraider I finished of the old series before the new more open world stuff, great game but I think I took a bit longer than this
